@ thomas – Zarm is quite correct, we do have a wee policy here of trying to avoid in print titles where possible. Not that I am trying to deter you here, just offer some helpful advice. But there are plenty of other blogs around, the trick is in finding them. Here’s a handy hint you and others might not be aware of, Google also has a blog search. Go here:
http://blogsearch.google.com/
Now, what to type into the search string? This works quite nicely on a lot of sites, where the link is in plain view. For example, for Toy Story I would enter in the search box, something like this:
“toy story” (rapidshare or megaupload or gigasize or filesend)
That will find any blogs who are offering Toy Story for download. Of course, you don’t know the bitrate until you check them out, but you will be amazed at how much is really out there. You can also use the same search string in a normal Google search. Other avenues to explore are torrent sites, many of these do offer 320 bitrates, and a surprising number nowadays are even in lossless formats. I can also highly recommend Soundtrack Lovers Paradise Members Only Club, a great bunch of people there offer many expanded or complete scores, at 320 bitrates.
Hope that helps!
@ zarm – Some good news on your remaining Goldsmith requests. Barnaby Jones has a bootleg, I am getting Lonely Guy as I type, and I can see a Six Degrees Of Separation too. I’ll upload when I get them down.
@ voncheech – I’ve got Matilda if nobody else steps up in the next day or so.

@ zarm – Rather short at 20 minutes, with lots of little tracks. Jerry did the theme, but a whole bunch of other people are credited on Soundtrack Collector…
Hi friends, I was contacted in private and asked if I would be so kind as to post the 1970 version of Scrooge, no problem at all, so for Jason and anyone else who may like it, here it is for your enjoyment.
Earlier this month, you had asked about music from the Night Gallery and Night Stalker tv shows. I can't help you with Night Gallery, but here is some music from Kolchak: The Night Stalker. The music is composed by Gil Melle for three of the early episodes, with cues from these scores re-used in later episodes. I found this on one of the soundtrack blogs back in February or March (it may have been YDHTVTB, but I can't recall) and I was ecstatic as I loved the show and its music.
It's not my rip and it's been so long since I downloaded it, I can't recall who posted it so that I credit them. While most of the tracks have no titles, they are all at @320. (Note: If Tracks 2 & 9 sounds too funky to seem to be part of the score, it is because parts of that episode ["The Ripper"] take place at a strip club with these pieces are heard in the background.)
Several episodes of the series were scored by Jerry Fielding and featured some very memorable cues. I've only been able to find Melle's work in my searches, however. But who knows what the future may bring?
Thank you, thank you for the Night Stalker. Yeah, the Fielding cues really stick out in my head as great stuff for sure (hopefully they will turn up here eventually), but the show wouldn't have had wings without Melle's great themes leading the way. Thanks again. Hopefully Fielding's stuff will turn up. And maybe Night Gallery too! This was a nice surprise. Cheers.
@ thomas - Go ahead and exchange those titles here. I have no qualms about seeing them posted.
@ filmpac - It's been a thing of beauty watching you chip away at the zarm requests. What's it been, like three weeks? And you keep bringing on these amazing finds.
I can't wait to get back so I can hear what's on that "Barnaby Jones" collection. A hearty round of applause for your efforts my friend. Cheers!!
@ zarm – To quote the movie… “I read somewhere that everybody on this planet is separated by only six other people. Six degrees of separation between us and everyone else on this planet. The President of the United States, a gondolier in Venice, just fill in the names. I find it extremely comforting that we're so close. I also find it like Chinese water torture, that we're so close because you have to find the right six people to make the right connection... I am bound, you are bound, to everyone on this planet by a trail of six people.”
Well, I think we found “the right six people” here, only it turned out to be a lot more than just six of us who share this love of scores. I’d also like to thank Zarm for throwing these Jerry requests up, I doubt I would ever have gone looking for this, and after two listens I gotta tell you, I love it! WARNING: Does contain some dialogue, but it seems to enhance rather than distract.
That leaves Lonely Guy to come, but it’s still lost somewhere in cyberspace. It’ll still be coming, but the dude must be on a fourth of July long weekend like you lot… awfully quiet in here of late.
Thanks for all the corrective action on the Porgy & Bess Belafonte/Poitier issue. I should have remembered that as I saw the film in its roadshow version on Broadway in NY. And somebody should put the squeeze on the Gershwins to get that thing released.
@mel
Rant away, my bro. I agree with you 100% about standardizing on the MP3 format and knock off all this other crapola that just complicates things. It's just that, for a klutz like me to be able to negotiate all these damn compressed files and strange formats, I'm still amazed. But rant away, and you can always do it on my dime.

Lot of lurkers in this room, and very quiet ones too. C'mon guys, speak up, I know you're downloading!
Dave, I was only responsible for one of those Li'l Abners. Which reminds me, I have a Porgy & Bess movie soundtrack. Who said this hasn't been released?
Re: Porgy. Soundtrack may be available, and would love to have it, but the film is locked up in the Gershwin vaults...at least for now. Maybe some new generation of Gershwins will get greedy enough to bring it out of hiding.
For those who cares (and i believe there's a few here): BenT IS BACK!!!! http://mrjevil.blogspot.com/ He reuploded some jewels for his old defunct blog, includes Ed Wood's Orgy of the dead! :)))
Thanks big time for your hint about using the Google blogspot search for finding specific titles.
http://blogsearch.google.com/
I've been at this now for a couple of years, and even being an avid Googler, didn't realize this was available. I do have about 8-10 websites and a few blogs I go to everyday to see what's new. Now this opens up even more doors, especially for specific searches.
Again, another added value to this wonderful, warm, welcoming community of people. Think it's about time we expand our efforts to a take-over of the U.N. so we can straighten the world out!
@ Tony---You must be psychic man because I was just getting an album uploaded for you. Are you familiar with 'Frank Perry's Last Summer' from '69? Sitar music and a band called The Electric Meatball---I thought you might dig it.
LAST SUMMER http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZAGPM68E
btw---I stopped by your blog recently. niiiiccce. Very cool. Best of Luck! (do you have Frances Lai's 'Hello, Goodbye'?---if not it would make for a great house warming if you're interested.)
@ All you 'Spy People' (you know who you are)--- here's some low budget stuff from the good folks at the Somerset Label; 2 Albums w/ one being credited to 'The Zero Zero Seven Orchestra' (indeed) They're vinyl rips @ 192 (some surface noise) with full cover scans:
THE ZERO ZERO SEVEN ORCHESTRA http://www.megaupload.com/?d=D9G05RVF
Hope everyone's doing great. All The Best, Rocket
ps---Howdy isbum! Hope you're having a great vacation! (got some surprises heading this way with you in mind pretty soon)
I didn't realize that you had 2 BLOGS! I just clicked on the Frances Lai one---what are you trying to do? Take over the blog world or something? seriously---very very cool. I'll look around and see if I have anything to contribute.
@rocket -- Yes, I know I'm a bit daft, but I thought it would fun to experiment with the blog thing. One lead to the other, so to speak, and now look what I've done :)
@ Filmpac rocket from tony mars Hiiii felllas! Fireworks over the Rock River tonight were great, but ya know what? The local-yokal radio station ran short of music to play to coincide with the fireworks show! They should have turned the show over to you folks here ...heck! WE Never run out of music do we?
I’m very thankful to be able to tell you that my lost files have been found and restored. It’s a big load off my mind. I’m now trying to up the files that I promised but there are problems with the webhosters. Radipshare wouldn’t let me upload anything yesterday (Sunday) and only now I’m starting to get results. It’s slowing down the internet considerably, however. I tried uploading with mediafire (from which I’m able to download without any problems) but uploading just doesn’t work at all for me. Weird. Keep your fingers crossed that I’ll be able to get everything to you before long.
I have so much to thank you for: The McKennas – which sound great; and This Is How I Feel About Jazz – Quincy Jones (I used to have this LP but not the Go West extra tracks) – and anyone who knows the Clifford Brown 1953 recording of Stockholm Sweetnin’ will appreciate Quincy’s arrangement; Marty Paich (do you by any chance have Sammy Davis Belts The Best Of Broadway?)
Thanks a million for sharing your marvelous collection with us.
Here at last is the Mel Torme / Buddy Rich that I promised you a while back:
Thanks for your kindness in indulging me to vent my feelings. Let’s get back to the music. Perhaps you can help with a little request: I’ve been looking for what I think is a Neapolitan song, Tiritomba (I used to have an excellent recording by Richard Tucker). Do you have it in your collection? I don’t want the one by European singer Helmut Lotti. Thank you and regards.
Sorry, don't have Richard Tucker singing Tiritomba. But I do have it on (in a single file) an album titled "Amazing Grace" by the Vienna Boys Choir which also includes that other Neopolitan standard, Santa Lucia. Let me know if you want it.
@ Tony – Congrats on the new blog. I see you have covers without links. Not sure if this was intentional or not, but three of them are ones are I have previously upped over the last few months. You are more than welcome to use the links if you wish, my friend. All are @192 or better, Bilitis is @320. I won't post the links just yet, in case you prefer to rip your own, but if you want Emmanuelle 2, Bilitis & International Velvet links, just ask.
And I have a Rider On The Rain I’ve been meaning to upload, will shoot it up the line tomorrow morning as a housewarming present.
"THE MERRY WIDOW"(1952), music by Franz Lehar, adapted by Jay Blackton; film directed by Curtis Bernhardt, starred by Lana Turner. Any source is wellcome.
@ ruggo – The film soundtrack, I think. I confess it has been a LONG time since I saw it, for reasons you have already discussed. But the tracks do line up with what is on Soundtrack Collector. Please to enjoy the movie soundtrack to…
Even more curious, I am wondering why a soundtrack to Carmen Jones doesn’t seem to be around. Can anyone share this, or even a DVD rip would be outstanding.
@ quinlan, scoredaddy, isbum & other Andre Previn fans
Here is the first of two Andre Previn And Old Friends concerts. This one, Andre Previn And Friends Gala 1995, was recorded in London and broadcast by the BBC:
I've seen you are to produce a cover art for Dinosaur. But what I want is the "officiel" bootleg cover (I've already got it, but in a very bad quality). Do you have it ?
However, I can't wait seeing your work on this great animated picture!
I'm looking for the 2-CD version of "The Rock", by Nick Glennie Smith, Hans Zimmer and Harry Gregson- Williams. It is a more-or-less complete score with no SFX and became available some time in 2006. CD1 of this version has 16 tracks and CD2 has 11 tracks. It is sometimes referred to as "The Rock: Recording Sessions".
Beware and please do not confuse this with the easily available 2-CD version often referred to as "The Rock Complete" with a 19-track CD1 and an 11-track CD2. This album is marred by sound effects as it's simply the basic score with the missing parts edited in ripped from the DVD.
Vienna Boys choir has become so damn vanilla and I think lost it's creative edge over the last few years, which is probably a lack of directorial imagination rather than availability of talented singers. But here's their relatively recent release AMAZING GRACE which includes your requested TIRITOMBA at track 6.
Unfortunately this is all in a single MP3 file, which I took from a single ape file which had a "cue". But I don't know how to use the "cue" thingee to extract individual tracks. In any case, you've got your song plus 13 more.
You can't provide me the animated soundtracks I'm looking for. OK.
But could you provide me (us) Ghibli Studio movies soundtracks :
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind Laputa: Castle in the Sky Grave of the Fireflies My Neighbor Totoro Kiki's Delivery Service Only Yesterday Porco Rosso I Can Hear the Sea Pompoko On Your Mark Whisper of the Heart My Neighbors the Yamadas The Cat Returns Howl's Moving Castle
I'd appreciate high encoding rates, such as 320 kbps or FLAC or APE.
Thanks in advance !
PS : I've already looked on LLDSW, but their encoding rates are too low...
I downloaded a rip of Michael Kamen's 'Frequency' some time ago and decided to do my own rip, because the music sounded very distorted in places. Well, while doing the rip, I found out: that's the DVD's fault. It's the isolated soundtrack that is somewhat screwy. It's not easy hearing the music under the dialogue, but I think the main soundtrack is not affected in this way. Sigh. Anyway, for what it's worth, here it is. What's on the DVD is actually a composer's commentary, but Kamen mostly speaks only when there's nothing or only a song playing in the background, leaving his music free to be heard (with only a few exceptions). In three instances, commentary and music run into each other, so I couldn't splice them apart. In the case of the finale cue, I created an artificial fade-out. I grouped the commentary tracks together, but I left the numbering intact, so you can easily put them back in the correct order (including those three commentary-bothered tracks) if that's what you want. I ripped the End Title music from the main soundtrack because it wasn't on the isolated one; to avoid the non-Kamen-composed song, I had to do a short fade-in. Bitrate @320. I amplified the sound at a rate of 175%; it's still a bit quiet, but I didn't want to overmodulate. Jesusmeetsdragonslayer.
@breton girl: About 'Harry Potter': Oh, I do intend to read them eventually, if only to see what all the fuss is about. I have already bought the first four or five. I just want to wait until I can read them all in one go. Don't want to forget anything in between volumes.
@thomas: Well, I do have soundtracks for all the Ghibli films except for 'Pom Poko'. Mostly @128 and 192, so if you don't find anything better, raise your hand. If you *do* find something better online, I'd be obliged if you raised your hand, too, and pointed me/us in the right direction ;).
What I have in 320 or high variable bitrate is Howl (OST), Nausicaä (Image), the Catbus Baby short film, Cat Returns, Ocean Waves, Yamadas, and Earthsea (OST).
I'm fairly certain that at least 'Howl's Moving Castle' was also released in Europe and America, and is presumably still in print. So I'd once again ask for permission from our gracious host.
I already have Trail Of The Lonesome Pine but the others look very good.
I'd appreciate whichever you'd like to post, and many thanks for sharing.
The Bohemian Girl was actually their (very funny) treatment of a John Balfe opera which included "I Dreamt I Dwelt In Marble Halls" but I don't know whether it's ever been issued as a commercial recording.
@ zarm – One step closer to Goldsmith bliss, no more lonely guy;) I am not too sure of the source, might even be a recording sessions, a couple of tracks seem to indicate this…
OK, thanks a lot for this ! I'm trying to get APE or FLAC files of Castle in the Sky and Kiki's Delivery Service. If I succeed in getting them, I'll...raise my hand ! ;)
Yesterday’s Live Earth concerts reminded me of our children and grandchildren, the wonderful blessings we have been allowed to share our lives with. Maybe they will grow up to do things a little better and with a little more love than much of our generation.
For almost a year, I culled through thousands of music tracks, hundreds of CD’s, and downloads in an attempt to build a unique album I could give to my grandchildren and say: “Here’s just a tip of the iceberg of all the beauty that awaits you in this world. Let it be the beginning of your search for more.”
I’ve noticed an eclectic sense of awareness in our group. It seeems none of us limit ourselves to soundtracks, but are willing to consider all music. So here for all my new friends and their children is that album. I hope it serves its purpose. And I hope you hear something wonderful that you have never heard before.

Thumbing through a handful of CDs I haven't listened to for quite awhile...I've accessed and enjoyed so many of your shares, I wondered if anyone has interest in: VAMPYROS LESBOS/Sexadelic Dance Party LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT MARK OF THE DEVIL/MARK OF THE DEVIL II or THE ILLUSTRATED MAN (I've already posted THE REINCARNATION OF PETER PROUD for SLP Members...the LINK is there, if you're interested.) If so, I'll upload.
@ zarm – This was going to be the last of the Jerry’s, but I did happen to spy a Waltons bootleg, but it disappeared again before I could snare it. So, the pursuit continues another day. In the meantime, here is…
@ voncheech – Stooges stuff is notoriously hard to find, but there is one album available at the Way Out Junk blog. If anyone can lay their hands on more, please holler… nyuk nyuk nyuk.
@ rodtross – All great titles you are offering, I happen to have all except one, so I would love to request the Mark Of The Devil set, thanks heaps! BTW, that Vampyros Lesbos is really excellent, something of a personal fav.
@ voncheech – Ah yes, The Stooges & Snow White, classic… What a great find! The Stooges got me poking around in my comedy folder, and I thought I would pass on some links to the great W.C. Fields. Two albums available from the Cool Kinky Hip And Groovy blog. Highly recommended. Plus a Harpo Marx album!
@ rodtross – Man alive, that was quick… thanks for Mark Of The Devil!
@ quinlan, scoredaddy, isbum & other Andre Previn fans
Here is the second Andre Previn And Old Friends concerts - Andre Previn And Friends At The La Jolla Summer Festival, 1991. Personnel is the same as the previous one – Andre Previn – piano; Mundell Lowe – guitar, and Ray Brown – bass.
The Vienna Boys' Choir album is beautiful - and I have absolutely no problem with it all being in a single mp3 file. I agree with your comments about the Choir suffering from a lack of directorial imagination these days.
I'm still looking for a tenor singing Tiritomba in the traditional way, however, should you ever come across one.
Now that I have all my files back again, I see that I have a few tracks by Ethel Merman, including those from the movie Call Me Madam (1950), so, if you'd like, I can make a compilation for you and post it here. Just say the word.
Thank you for "GANDHI", but that's an LP ripping witch one I already have. So, I Keep requesting a CD RIPPING of "GANDHI" to you, nice guys!
@filmpac
Thank you for "PORGY AND BESS OST". That's really the Soundtrack in a nice CD rip; I have that LP, that is going to the garbage can right now! I've searched on the Net some information about the CD our nice guy ruggo posted before, but didn't find.
For Ruggo: It's just one big track...that's the way the CD I bought at Footlight Records years ago was produced... "THE ILLUSTRATED MAN" http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZQ2YN8KQ
As Ghibli appetisers, here are the two songs from the U.S. version of 'Kiki's Delivery Service', and the ridiculously catchy Japanese trailer song for 'Nausicaä', neither of which has made it on the respective soundtracks. The bitrate is not in 320, but all three are rather rare.
@voncheech: What, exactly, is the deal with the Leyendas board? When I was there maybe two weeks ago, it said everywhere that the threads were closed and would be continued in a new board that would only be accessible to people who had posted albums. Now the old board is gone entirely (or was a few days ago), and you need to register to even see what's available at the new board. Could you explain how to get access?
@ Hornconcerto: registration is the only way to get an access to La Leyenda's new forum... Go for it, there's a lot of great posts! And some of us are members ;)
Re Potter Azkaban: The jewel case artwork lists the time of Harry's Vow as 1:39. The track is called Harry's WOW on the case. Amazing a professional CD company could have a misprint like that. LOL.
I just posted something with the private emails. You are there, are you not? MovieGal? Don't want you to miss out on a Gem.
@ Maimone: you're right about the HP track... By the way, since the complete Azkaban score is a boot, i'm not sure that the cover was made by "professional", lol ;)
I agree with breton girl, La Leyenda is well work registration. Tremendous amount of good stuff there, and the more of us who are members, the less chance we will be duplicating efforts.
@rodtross
Thanks for Illustrated. Don't mind single track (in fact, I think ex used to refer to me in much the same way).
Continuing with the Ghibli: Joe Hisaishi's short but sweet music for the also short and reportedly sweet Totoro-spin off Mei and the Kittenbus. And the "Image" album for Nausicaa, Valley of the Wind (one of Miyazaki's worst films, if you ask me, but like all Ghiblis worth watching at least once).
Oh, and in case you're wondering, the absolutely atrocious electronic track 8 is supposed to end this abruptly; that's the way it's in the movie, if I recall correctly.
Regarding the covers of Dinousaur (2 CD Bootleg) I think I have the same as you - a very poorly scanned cover... I will try to check if I can get something better... I will post any news here.
@ Breton Girl,
Did you get the expanded releases of Harry Potter? Just wondering if you guys would like me to prepare some covers... :)
In my opinion, one of the best scores by Goldsmith; it makes you feel the fresh air of the sea:

I'll re-up Chronicles #1 in about 3-4 days (due to being busy and having a duff connection), unless you get a better offer.
Request: Bruno Nicolai - The 1998 Beat CD "A Man Called Apocalypse Joe / A Man Named Invincible" (or any more Nicolai, really), if you have it. Also looking for Umiliani's "5 Bambole Per La Luna Di Agosto".
Very much looking forward to whatever you come up with, as usual. Loved Le Mont de Roubaix, and the Micalizzi, de Masi, Lai, etc., so thanks again for those.

Filmpac... I... um, hang on. I need to find my jaw- I think it bounced under my bed after it hit the floor! I spend a few days incommunicado (anyone else having problems with intermittent day-or-longer periods where the comments page won't load correctly?), and come back to find THIS??? I am... speechless! I mean... I don't even know what I mean! :-D Thank you SO MUCH! This is just such a shock! As Isbum said, this is a thing of beauty! And more than I ever could have expected! You have my deepest gratitude!!!
I tried to email you something and I got a delivery failure notification. Something about the server rejected the message. Please advise.
@Elias Islands in the Stream is a classic. I wonder if we will ever see the real score as the intrada release is a re-recording. It was referred to by FSM as a stellar recording if memory serves me right. Always wanted to give it a listen.

Here's what I have of The Young Girls of Rochefort (Les Demoiselles de Rochefort) - it may not be complete; and if anyone has a better one, please post!
Sorry, but I don't have There's No Business Like Show Business - but I'll keep a sharp eye out for it.
What I would like is the original Broadway cast album of Gypsy, and also the complete original Broadway cast album of Annie Get Your Gun - both with Merman of course.
I have Femina Ridens, just not ripped yet, I'll try to get to it this week. Head over to Tony's Francis Lai blog if you want to check out Mont Lai, I'll post a bunch there in a bit. Enjoy! JP
@ voncheech - Mr Destiny is available on Detective Mitchell’s Junk Driver archive for December. Scroll about half way down, link still good. And here is…
Something I just stumbled over, thought you cool cats might enjoy, very cruisy indeed, and with such a memorable main theme. The London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Harry Rabinowitz…
I’ve found something that claims to be Goldsmith’s “Islands In The Stream” original recording sessions, trying to find a little more info (and some verification). I’m just having a first listen now, but it sounds right, has 18 tracks, and runs some 51 minutes… before I upload can anyone shed any light, or better still cover pics?
Now, Filmpac, if only those amazing find-what-can't-be-found powers of yours would allow you to locate a "The Fugitive (2001) TV Series Cliffhanger Reolution..." :-) Man, what a dissapointment THAT was! But at least the original remains untarnished... cool find!
@ filmpac thank you for Mr Destiny point... whoo hoo for “The Mighty Ducks”
@mel
was about to share the lonesome pine, since i was on a laurel and hardy kick. but i realized my copy was only 80 kbps !!! who rips like that !!! if you have a better copy, could you please share it..
I was wondering if anyone had Ray Ellis's score to the 1970 horror film "Cauldron of Blood" starring Boris Karloff (originally released in Spain as "Le Coleccionista de cadáveres" and also known as "Blind Man's Bluff"). I believe the Spanish version had a different score, but it was replaced by the Ellis score when it was released in the U.S.
I'm not sure if this score was even released, so this is another one of those shot-in-the-dark requests.
Has anyone seen the actual score for Spiderman 3? I followed the link to the cover for the 'extra' tracks, but to my knowledge, the score itself has not been released at all. If anyone has it, I'd appreciate a copy.
Also, I would second the request for the score from 'Sky High'. All I've seen available is the vocal tracks.
THERE IS ONE BLOG IN SPANISH THAT HAS A LOT OF INTERESTING COMPILATIONS FROM ALL THE IMPORTANT COMPOSERS
www.scoresdecine.blogspot.com
BUT WE CAN´T DOWNLOAD BY THAT BLOG. SOMEONE CAN GO TO THE PROGRAM "EMULE"(TO DOWNLOAD MUSIC)AND SEARCH FOR THE KEYWORDS "NACHOHERRMANN". LOOKING FOR THIS (MASTER OF THE BLOG) WE CAN HAVE ALL OF THESE FABULOUS COMPILATIONS¡¡¡
@ alex - Erm, judging by the fairly unimaginative titles there, they are merely someone's homegrown collections of main titles. They surely are not official releases, or official compilations even.
My advice, if you want 'em, download 'em and share 'em with us.
THE BLOG IS A FINE ONE. AND IT SEEMS THAT THE COMPILATIONS HAVE RARE GEMS AND OBSCURE TITLES FROM PROMOS, EXPANDED, ETC
I DONT HAVE INTERNET AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD FROM EMULE AND A LITTLE IDEA OF COMPUTERS.
CAN DO IT SOMEONE WITH EMULE, ETC? AND POST IT HERE? ALL OF YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE COMPILATION OF THE SPANISH MAESTRO ANTON GARCIA ABRIL, GREAT MELODIES, HE IS A GENIUS.
I HOPE THAT SOON ALL OF US , WE CAN HAVE THIS COMPILATIONS
@ alex - Sorry dude, but now you *really* are confusing me. You don't have internet??? How is this possible when you are here?
All you need do is download the e-mule program, install it, run it, and away you go. I'm not a fan of e-mule (quite frankly, I'd run a mile before putting it on my computer), but I think you are asking an awful lot for someone else to download 45 CDs, AND upload them again.
And just to add another 2c, please don't use CAPITAL LETTERS. It is usually considered to be SHOUTING, on the internet. Sounds like I'm cranky, I know, but I'm not really. I wish you the best in your search.
Well my writen english is not very polite sometimes, because i´m spanish¡he,he
I don´t have internet in my house, I can only have internet sometimes in a ciber and emule is not fast.
People who want some of this compilations can reupload here at isbum´s place too and all we can share this special compilations with usual and unusual gems.
thanks
and a request:
someone has" LE JAGUAR" by VLADIMIR COSMA, great score¡
and "DEADLY FRIEND-ORCHESTRAL SCORE" by CHARLES BERNSTEIN
@ all Been mostly away for a while but cathcing up to posts now.
@ mel Thanks for the Previn concerts and for Torme/Rich. I have downloaded them but not listened yet. Also regarding Maybecks, I have a few of the ones on your list (but not all) and have a few more of my own. Maybe we can complete all volumes between us!
Mel, I see you requested Annie Get Your Gun. I do not seem to be able to find the Original 1946 cast recording (which I think I have) but I did find the 1966 revival starring Ethel Merman as well. I have ripped it from a CD @192. Hope you enjoy: http://rapidshare.com/files/42417970/Annie_Get_Your_Gun.rar
Good to see you back. You're very welcome for the Previns and the Torme / Rich which I hope you enjoy.
We'll have to discuss the Maybecks, so let me know when you're ready.
You've just made me an offer that I can't refuse (the Ethel Merman - Annie Get Your Gun revival). Thanks very much, and I hope the instigator of the Merman posts, breton girl, sees this!
hi friends, now I have found the time to upload the complete scores of Chaplin's Mutual movies composed by Carl Davis:

@scoreman: do you have a LP-Rip of Carl Davis' music to "Hollywood" ?
@all I just posted an expanded version of Charles Gerhardt's Classic Film Scores of Franz Waxman. I hope it is enjoyed: http://scoredaddys.blogspot.com/2007/07/franz-waxman-sunset-boulevard-classic.html
Did you two have any luck getting your private share requests?
SD- Chandos Film Scores Sallie- Wrong Man, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Five Weeks in a Balloon
I wish to keep that post updated and easy to read, so if you have recieved a requested item, let me know there with a note saying something like "I recieved THE WRONG MAN, thanks to the one who provided it to me."
A mesmerizingly beautiful score by Brian Tyler, incorporating many ethnic instruments into the exotic tapestry of his orchestration. Lushly romantic and evocative, this may be Tylers best score and album yet!

LA Course du Lievre is @ Tony's blog, and I posted La Modification yesterday, I have Le Petit Matin, Par Le Sang des Autres and Toute Une Vie as well, I will try to get them up here soon as well. JP
Max Steiner Battle Cry The Miracle of Our Lady Fatima The Flame and the Arrow Beyond the Forest Johnny Belinda Life With Father Sergeant York Dark Victory Now, Voyager The Life of Emile Zola The Charge of the Light Brigade The Garden of Allah
Miklos Rozsa A Song To Remember The Woman of the Town Lydia Sundown
Franz Waxman The Nun's Story Humoresque Objective, Burma! Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Suspicion The Young In Heart
Bernard Herrmann Anna and the King of Siam The Devil and Daniel Webster(All 5 Tracks)
Of these, the last one is probably the most "Western"; you wouldn't know it was composed by a Japanese. The "symphony" moniker is no accident; at times, it does feel more classical than score-ical (and comes highly recommended). 'Earthsea' includes a longer version of the hauntingly beautiful trailer song (don't believe me, check it out on youtube) than is to be found either on the OST or on Aoi Teshima's film song album, @192 (the OST itself is in 320). 'Howl's Moving Castle' is uploaded, I'm just waiting for the okay (and I've checked, it *is* still in print, if ridiculously expensive, at least on amazon.com; released 2003/2004).
'On Your Mark' doesn't really have a soundtrack. It's a J-Pop song that Miyazaki directed the music video for. I can't give you the song yet (at least not in 320), but I *can* give you the "film" itself.
Janus’s run of Euro goodness (awesome, thanks heaps) got me in a Euro mood too. I’ve always been a sucker for Italian spaghetti westerns, and one of the great things about compilations is you do get a chance to sample some film music first, to decide if you want to explore a particular score more. This is one I like, a lot. Tracklist here, and the download is here…
@ alex – I wasn’t knocking the idea of compilations as such, just to be clear. Hope you understand.
@ mel – Not what you asked for I know, but I have previously shared the original movie soundtrack to Annie Get Your Gun. It’s the RhIno release, containing both the completed version with Betty Hutton, and what was recorded of the aborted version with Judy Garland. Here’s the link again for you and others…
Thanks for the great collection of Carl Davis' original compositions for the Chaplin Mutuals. I have the films, but it will be nice just to listen to the music.
I also second the nomination from amadues for any of the titles he mentioned.
Thanks for "Wanted." I've let it be known early on that I'm a big fan of compilations and will look forward to this and any others posted here.
@scoredaddy
Thanks for your Waxman posting. I'm still working on getting the whole Gerhardt set.
@isbum
Back from the Windy City? I don't know how well the Private Request section is working. I've included my e-mail address with the hopes that kind souls send me anything they have a mind to, but have not actually requested anything as I never know what to ask for until someone else has requested it. Sigh...

@ voncheech – I’ve got Matilda if nobody else steps up in the next day or so.
thanks filmpac, we'll see...

@ filmscore
Anyway, here is the link:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RPJBY54I
@denis
Cheers.
@ Zarm and Filmpac
OK, I understand... I'll try to find them by another way.
Thanks...
Cheers!!
@ tony and jordan - Hello you two!
Hope you're having a great summer!

@isbum -
doing well friend!
BTW-- I have a couple of posts coming up in the next day or so, that I don't think have been shared yet...I hope! :)
Jerry Goldsmith “Six Degrees Of Separation” (1993), promo @320:
http://rapidshare.com/files/41561757/JG-SixDegreesOfSeparation.zip
Hello good people,
I'm desperate for the following soundtracks if anyone would be lovely enough to share...
The Umbrellas of Cherbourg - Michel Legrand
&
The Bloodline - Ennio Morricone
thank you so very much~!
First and foremost Thank you so much HaloOfTheSun for your help with the Halloween H20 and Nightmare 5 Film Scores!!!!!
Next Does anyone have the soundtrack for Dolly Parton's film Straight Talk?
Thanks for your help.
soulpeeps & elias
Thanks for all the corrective action on the Porgy & Bess Belafonte/Poitier issue. I should have remembered that as I saw the film in its roadshow version on Broadway in NY. And somebody should put the squeeze on the Gershwins to get that thing released.
@mel

Excluding the songs, is any of the score to the Sci-Fi film LOOKER (composed by Barry De Vorzon) available at all?
Lot of lurkers in this room, and very quiet ones too. C'mon guys, speak up, I know you're downloading!
Dave, I was only responsible for one of those Li'l Abners. Which reminds me, I have a Porgy & Bess movie soundtrack. Who said this hasn't been released?
How goes the holiday Isbum?
@filmpac
Re: Porgy. Soundtrack may be available, and would love to have it, but the film is locked up in the Gershwin vaults...at least for now. Maybe some new generation of Gershwins will get greedy enough to bring it out of hiding.
@voncheech
Im going to upload Nutty Proffesor 2 in the next day or so
Thanks
Hi Everyone!
@ '@'---I just picked this vinyl lp up this afternoon and was ripping it for myself when I saw your request. Weird. Here's the original release of:

Hello, Thomas,
I am going to release the covers for Dinousaur 2CD in end of july! I think that's what you are looking for.
Please keep visiting the RSW Records blog (http://rsw-records.blogspot.com).
Take care,

@filmpac
Wow! Very Quiet today. Must be the beautiful weather (around here anyway :)
Thought I'd share a post that, to my knowledge has not been posted before.
I've had this for quite some time, and it had slipped my mind, until now.

Last Summer, I don't have it! But thanks to you, now I do! :)
I appreciate it very much.
I have Hello-Goodbye, but I am hoping for many more Lai posts at my blog.
Please, all the Francis Lai fans, drop by and post a little something--- please :)
sorry about that Tony---
I didn't realize that you had 2 BLOGS! I just clicked on the Frances Lai one---what are you trying to do? Take over the blog world or something? seriously---very very cool. I'll look around and see if I have anything to contribute.
your pal,

Yes, I know I'm a bit daft, but I thought it would fun to experiment with the blog thing.

Fireworks over the Rock River tonight were great, but ya know what? The local-yokal radio station ran short of music to play to coincide with the fireworks show!
They should have turned the show over to you folks here ...heck!

Off to Chicago tomorrow, see ya from there!
@ scoredaddy, quinlan, Jason, isbum
I’m very thankful to be able to tell you that my lost files have been found and restored. It’s a big load off my mind. I’m now trying to up the files that I promised but there are problems with the webhosters. Radipshare wouldn’t let me upload anything yesterday (Sunday) and only now I’m starting to get results. It’s slowing down the internet considerably, however. I tried uploading with mediafire (from which I’m able to download without any problems) but uploading just doesn’t work at all for me. Weird. Keep your fingers crossed that I’ll be able to get everything to you before long.
@ scoredaddy
I have so much to thank you for: The McKennas – which sound great; and This Is How I Feel About Jazz – Quincy Jones (I used to have this LP but not the Go West extra tracks) – and anyone who knows the Clifford Brown 1953 recording of Stockholm Sweetnin’ will appreciate Quincy’s arrangement; Marty Paich (do you by any chance have Sammy Davis Belts The Best Of Broadway?)
Thanks a million for sharing your marvelous collection with us.
Here at last is the Mel Torme / Buddy Rich that I promised you a while back:
http://rapidshare.com/files/41848542/MTBR.rar.html
@ ruggo
Thanks for your kindness in indulging me to vent my feelings. Let’s get back to the music. Perhaps you can help with a little request: I’ve been looking for what I think is a Neapolitan song, Tiritomba (I used to have an excellent recording by Richard Tucker). Do you have it in your collection? I don’t want the one by European singer Helmut Lotti. Thank you and regards.
@ filmpac
Sorry, your name should also have been included with my post about my lost files.
Many thanks for your Li'l Abner soundtrack.
@ mel - Great news about your hard drive, mate! I had a look for Tiritomba, and the only one in my collection is by James Last. Interested?
@mel
@Clint's archive
Thank you for "THE LOVER"!
@Everybody
Does anybody have a CD rip of 1982 George Fenton/Ravi Shankar
"GANDHI"?
God bless you all!
One more request:
"THE MERRY WIDOW"(1952), music by Franz Lehar, adapted by Jay Blackton; film directed by Curtis Bernhardt, starred by Lana Turner. Any source is wellcome.
Thank you all!
@ ruggo – The film soundtrack, I think. I confess it has been a LONG time since I saw it, for reasons you have already discussed. But the tracks do line up with what is on Soundtrack Collector. Please to enjoy the movie soundtrack to…
Gershwin’s “Porgy And Bess” (1959), @192:
http://rapidshare.com/files/41840538/OST-PorgyAndBess.zip
Even more curious, I am wondering why a soundtrack to Carmen Jones doesn’t seem to be around. Can anyone share this, or even a DVD rip would be outstanding.
Does anyone have the 2 disc "I Spy" from FSM?
@mel
Glad you managed to save your files, it's amazing how many people don't think about having copies until it's too late (me included:)
@rocket
Thanks for the spy stuff, keep it comin' :)
Cheers all

@ quinlan, scoredaddy, isbum & other Andre Previn fans
Here is the first of two Andre Previn And Old Friends concerts. This one, Andre Previn And Friends Gala 1995, was recorded in London and broadcast by the BBC:
http://rapidshare.com/files/41862157/APFG_1.rar.html
http://rapidshare.com/files/41872809/APFG_2.rar.html
The second one should be ready in a couple of days.
EnJoY!
@ filmpac
Thanks, but it's a vocal recording of Tiritomba that I'm after.
@ ruggo
The Vienna Boys' Choir sounds great, it should do nicely until I can get a solo tenor recording - thanks very much.
I'm not short of recordings of Santa Lucia, however, but Tiritomba seems to have been very rarely recorded.
@ Magnus
I've seen you are to produce a cover art for Dinosaur. But what I want is the "officiel" bootleg cover (I've already got it, but in a very bad quality).
Do you have it ?
However, I can't wait seeing your work on this great animated picture!
@ thxjay
Thx, Jason. My next project will be to burn all my mp3s onto CDs - a big job but prudent.
@ voncheech
What do you have of Laurel and Hardy? The Bohemian Girl, perhaps?
By special request, here's Elmer Bernstein's Twilight
http://rapidshare.com/files/41889743/Twilight.zip.html
Ennioman
Hello there, I'm hoping someone here can help me.
Thank you.
@mel
Laurel and Hardy-Trail of the lonesome pine
Laurel & Hardy - Memories In Music
THE LAUREL & HARDY COLLECTION -22 tracks
No, The Bohemian Girl, though sounds interesting.
was planning on uploading these soon. if you are interested in any one, i can upload your pick first...
@ filmpac and H20
Thanks so much for Arizona Colt and Il Grande Colpo Dei 7 Uomini D'oro
I love this euro 60's stuff!

@ Voncheech
No problem at all, you are aware though, Bernstein's TWILIGHT is nothing to do with The Twilight Zone??
It's a 1998 film starring Paul Newman, Gene Hackman and Susan Sarandon..
Ennioman
@filmpac --I would love the Lai links my friend. That is very kind of you.
No rush, whenever you can get around to it. :)

@mel
Vienna Boys choir has become so damn vanilla and I think lost it's creative edge over the last few years, which is probably a lack of directorial imagination rather than availability of talented singers. But here's their relatively recent release AMAZING GRACE which includes your requested TIRITOMBA at track 6.
http://rapidshare.com/files/41941371/Vienna_Boys_Choir_Amazing_Grace.part1.rar
http://rs80cg.rapidshare.com/files/41945874/Vienna_Boys_Choir_Amazing_Grace.part2.rar
Unfortunately this is all in a single MP3 file, which I took from a single ape file which had a "cue". But I don't know how to use the "cue" thingee to extract individual tracks. In any case, you've got your song plus 13 more.
Hi !
You can't provide me the animated soundtracks I'm looking for. OK.
But could you provide me (us) Ghibli Studio movies soundtracks :
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
Laputa: Castle in the Sky
Grave of the Fireflies
My Neighbor Totoro
Kiki's Delivery Service
Only Yesterday
Porco Rosso
I Can Hear the Sea
Pompoko
On Your Mark
Whisper of the Heart
My Neighbors the Yamadas
The Cat Returns
Howl's Moving Castle
I'd appreciate high encoding rates, such as 320 kbps or FLAC or APE.
Thanks in advance !
PS : I've already looked on LLDSW, but their encoding rates are too low...
@ Olaf: just curious... Where were you in Brittany?
Jesus meets dragonslayer.
@ Breton Girl:
I stayed in Plancoët and went to Cancalles, St Malo, Dinard, Avranches, Dinan, Rennes et Mt St Michel. It was just gorgeous.
@ Olaf: when you'll be back in Brittany, just tell me here or left your email for contact, i live in St Malo (pretty close to the station!) and my natal town is Dinan (well, to tell the truth it's Léhon more than Dinan)! ;)
Oh, and just curious... Where do you live?...
@ voncheech
I already have Trail Of The Lonesome Pine but the others look very good.
I'd appreciate whichever you'd like to post, and many thanks for sharing.
The Bohemian Girl was actually their (very funny) treatment of a John Balfe opera which included "I Dreamt I Dwelt In Marble Halls" but I don't know whether it's ever been issued as a commercial recording.
@ Breton Girl
I will certainly come back to Brittany (but not in the near future)
I live in Utrecht in The Netherlands.

If I succeed in getting them, I'll...raise my hand ! ;)
What you can upload in 320 would be welcome.
Thanks once more !

Thumbing through a handful of CDs I haven't listened to for quite awhile...I've accessed and enjoyed so many of your shares, I wondered if anyone has interest in:
VAMPYROS LESBOS/Sexadelic Dance Party
LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT
MARK OF THE DEVIL/MARK OF THE DEVIL II
or
THE ILLUSTRATED MAN
(I've already posted THE REINCARNATION OF PETER PROUD for SLP Members...the LINK is there, if you're interested.)
If so, I'll upload.
@ zarm – This was going to be the last of the Jerry’s, but I did happen to spy a Waltons bootleg, but it disappeared again before I could snare it. So, the pursuit continues another day. In the meantime, here is…
Jerry Goldsmith “Pursuit” (1972), TV bootleg with dialogue @256:
http://rapidshare.com/files/42001256/JG-Pursuit.zip

Hello all -- quick REQUEST!
Anybody got THE ZODIAC by Michael Suby? I think it's an iTunes exclusive.
Thanks!

@ ruggo
The Vienna Boys' Choir album is beautiful - and I have absolutely no problem with it all being in a single mp3 file. I agree with your comments about the Choir suffering from a lack of directorial imagination these days.
I'm still looking for a tenor singing Tiritomba in the traditional way, however, should you ever come across one.
Thank you so much.
@ breton girl
Now that I have all my files back again, I see that I have a few tracks by Ethel Merman, including those from the movie Call Me Madam (1950), so, if you'd like, I can make a compilation for you and post it here. Just say the word.
@Breton Girl
I finally listened to Azkaban complete and found Disc 1 track 36 "Harry's Vow" ends abruptly after 36 seconds. Does yours do the same?
What a great month this will be for Potter fans!
Thanks.
@ruggo
Thank you for "GANDHI", but that's an LP ripping witch one I already have.
So, I Keep requesting a
CD RIPPING of "GANDHI" to you, nice guys!
@filmpac
Thank you for "PORGY AND BESS OST". That's really the Soundtrack in a nice CD rip; I have that LP, that is going to the garbage can right now! I've searched on the Net some information about the CD our nice guy ruggo posted before, but didn't find.
God bless you all!
@ Mel: A Ethel Merman compilation??? Yes, please!!!!
@ Maimone: not sure i'm noticed the abrupt end on track 36, i need to listen it again... But if it's a dvd rip, it could happen (sadly)...
@rodtross
Would sure like THE ILLUSTRATED MAN. Can still recall the movie with Rod Steiger, and of course the great, great book by Ray Bradbury.
@ RodTross
I would love VAMPYROS LESBOS/Sexadelic Dance Party and
LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT.
Thank you

Von has sorted it out very kindly.
Wind Fairy
Sydney Forest's replacement songs
@voncheech: What, exactly, is the deal with the Leyendas board? When I was there maybe two weeks ago, it said everywhere that the threads were closed and would be continued in a new board that would only be accessible to people who had posted albums. Now the old board is gone entirely (or was a few days ago), and you need to register to even see what's available at the new board. Could you explain how to get access?
@ Hornconcerto: registration is the only way to get an access to La Leyenda's new forum... Go for it, there's a lot of great posts! And some of us are members ;)
@Breton Girl
For CLINT'S ACRHIVES:
'Vampyros Lesbos'
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7PWCQ4FJ
@ Maimone: you're right about the HP track... By the way, since the complete Azkaban score is a boot, i'm not sure that the cover was made by "professional", lol ;)
@hornconcerto
I agree with breton girl, La Leyenda is well work registration. Tremendous amount of good stuff there, and the more of us who are members, the less chance we will be duplicating efforts.
@rodtross
@ thomas,
Regarding the covers of Dinousaur (2 CD Bootleg) I think I have the same as you - a very poorly scanned cover...

@janus2810
I'll re-up Chronicles #1 in about 3-4 days (due to being busy and having a duff connection), unless you get a better offer.
Request:
Bruno Nicolai - The 1998 Beat CD "A Man Called Apocalypse Joe / A Man Named Invincible" (or any more Nicolai, really), if you have it. Also looking for Umiliani's "5 Bambole Per La Luna Di Agosto".
Very much looking forward to whatever you come up with, as usual. Loved Le Mont de Roubaix, and the Micalizzi, de Masi, Lai, etc., so thanks again for those.
Cheers!

Filmpac... I... um, hang on.

Islands in the Stream is a classic. I wonder if we will ever see the real score as the intrada release is a re-recording. It was referred to by FSM as a stellar recording if memory serves me right. Always wanted to give it a listen.
Hi,
I'm looking for a hard to find soundtrack, a musical movie soundtrack HEAVENLY BODIES (1984).
Anybody have this?
Thanks in advance.
@ Magnus: i've got Harry Potter I & III in expanded (i haven't got the others, sadly), and i must admit than the covers are not great...
@ Mel: Thanks a lot for the Ethel Merman tracks! :) And for the whole Call Me Madam, you could upload too, when you'll have time... :)
@ rocket to mars
I've been trying since 07/07/07 to download Umbrellas Of Cherbourg and now, thankfully, megaupload have finally condescended to allow me to do so.
I've never heard it before but have been desperately seeking it as I love Legrand's music for The Young Girls Of Rochefort.
Thanks so much!
@ rocket
Sorry, wrong direction - I meant from, not to, mars.
I'm digging this beautiful music as I write!
@ breton girl
You're most welcome. Now I'll work on Call Me Madam for you.
@ Mel: thanks a lot! :))

Here is Call Me Madam (1953) (no, not 1950 as I misinformed you – that was the date of the original Broadway show):

Something I just stumbled over, thought you cool cats might enjoy, very cruisy indeed, and with such a memorable main theme. The London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Harry Rabinowitz…
Pete Rugulo “The Fugitive” (1963), TV series, @192:
http://rapidshare.com/files/42413281/PR-TheFugitive.zip
I’ve found something that claims to be Goldsmith’s “Islands In The Stream” original recording sessions, trying to find a little more info (and some verification). I’m just having a first listen now, but it sounds right, has 18 tracks, and runs some 51 minutes… before I upload can anyone shed any light, or better still cover pics?
Now, Filmpac, if only those amazing find-what-can't-be-found powers of yours would allow you to locate a "The Fugitive (2001) TV Series Cliffhanger Reolution..." :-) Man, what a dissapointment THAT was! But at least the original remains untarnished... cool find!
@ janus2810 - Fantastic!!! I was looking forward to hearing them. And thanks for a plenty of rare Lai's.

whoo hoo for “The Mighty Ducks”
@mel
was about to share the lonesome pine, since i was on a laurel and hardy kick. but i realized my copy was only 80 kbps !!! who rips like that !!! if you have a better copy, could you please share it..
Thanks!
Oops, that should have been "El Coleccionista de cadáveres", not "Le.." I had my foreign articles mixed up. :)
Thanks!

AND, FINALLY, SOMEONE CAN POST HERE THE LINKS FOR ALL THE PEOPLE?
EMULE IS NOT A FAST PROGRAM AND FROM ISBUM´S PLACE WE COULD DOWNLOAD ALL THIS MUSIC.
THANKSSS PEOPLE¡¡¡
@ alex - Erm, judging by the fairly unimaginative titles there, they are merely someone's homegrown collections of main titles.
ALL OF YOU MUST
DOWNLOAD THE COMPILATION OF THE SPANISH MAESTRO ANTON GARCIA ABRIL, GREAT MELODIES, HE IS A GENIUS.
I HOPE THAT SOON ALL OF US , WE CAN HAVE THIS COMPILATIONS
THANKSS
@ alex - Sorry dude, but now you *really* are confusing me. You don't have internet??? How is this possible when you are here?
All you need do is download the e-mule program, install it, run it, and away you go. I'm not a fan of e-mule (quite frankly, I'd run a mile before putting it on my computer), but I think you are asking an awful lot for someone else to download 45 CDs, AND upload them again.
Just my 2c, but good luck with it.
And just to add another 2c, please don't use CAPITAL LETTERS. It is usually considered to be SHOUTING, on the internet. Sounds like I'm cranky, I know, but I'm not really. I wish you the best in your search.
Good luck!
"
I DONT HAVE INTERNET AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD FROM EMULE AND A LITTLE IDEA OF COMPUTERS."
I really really don't mean to be rude, but what in the name of all that is holy was that?
:-)
Hello¡

Thanks for the Previn concerts and for Torme/Rich.
Hope you enjoy:

Good to see you back. You're very welcome for the Previns and the Torme / Rich which I hope you enjoy.
We'll have to discuss the Maybecks, so let me know when you're ready.
You've just made me an offer that I can't refuse (the Ethel Merman - Annie Get Your Gun revival). Thanks very much, and I hope the instigator of the Merman posts, breton girl, sees this!
@ Scoredaddy: one more Merman to go, thanks a lot! :)

I wish to keep that post updated and easy to read, so if you have recieved a requested item, let me know there with a note saying something like "I recieved THE WRONG MAN, thanks to the one who provided it to me."
Just trying this to see if it makes this easier.

Any help with this would be appreciated.
I can offer "Blood & Black Lace" if needed.

@ Isbum-
I got Voyage at the Bottom of the Sea, but haven't gotten Five Weeks In A Balloon, or the FSM The Wrong Man.
More Ghibli:
The Cat Returns
Ocean Waves = I Can Hear The Sea
Tales from Earthsea, pt. 1
Tales from Earthsea, pt. 2
Laputa, Castle in the Sky (Symphony Version) @224
@ hornconcerto
Once more...thank you very much for this !
@ sallie - Thanks for the update.
I hear that "The Wrong Man" is terrific, perhaps someone could share that with us privately.
Don't blush, that's just me full on begging! :)
Tracklist here, and the download is here…
Various Artists “Wanted Dead Or Alive”, @320:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8R6BXA1K
@ alex – I wasn’t knocking the idea of compilations as such, just to be clear. Hope you understand.
@ mel – Not what you asked for I know, but I have previously shared the original movie soundtrack to Annie Get Your Gun. It’s the RhIno release, containing both the completed version with Betty Hutton, and what was recorded of the aborted version with Judy Garland. Here’s the link again for you and others…
Soundtrack “Annie Get Your Gun” (1950), @192:

@scorefun
Thanks for the great collection of Carl Davis' original compositions for the Chaplin Mutuals. I have the films, but it will be nice just to listen to the music.
I also second the nomination from amadues for any of the titles he mentioned.
@filmpac
Thanks for "Wanted." I've let it be known early on that I'm a big fan of compilations and will look forward to this and any others posted here.
@scoredaddy
Thanks for your Waxman posting. I'm still working on getting the whole Gerhardt set.
@isbum
Back from the Windy City?
I don't know how well the Private Request section is working. I've included my e-mail address with the hopes that kind souls send me anything they have a mind to, but have not actually requested anything as I never know what to ask for until someone else has requested it. Sigh...
