Here's a few requests: James Horner - Willow Complete Score 2cd Basil Poledouris - Conan the Destroyer complete score (there's a fan-made edition) and any Harry Potter expanded/complete score not uploaded yet (with our without sfx)
Hi everyone. Ia m looking for the complete ID4 from David Arnold. I got a version with 2 CDS. One with 12 tracks and the other with 30 tracks. The last one is now a dead CD. If someone could upload the complete ID4 or at least, the disk with the 30 tracks, it will be very cool! Thanks.
Finally figured out how to upload! Here's the first post, a compilation of themes , vol 1 of a strand I picked up years ago called Unheard Melodies. This is Rare Amereican Film Music 1960's Vol 1. I've listed the tracks here to give you all an idea of whats in the collection, but I'll leave you to download the others. I have Vol 2, which covers 1966 through 1969, then Vols 1 and 2 of Rare American Film Music of the 1970's, Rare American Film music of the 1980's vol 1 only, and Rare British Film Music of the 1960's Vol 2 which cover 1966 - 1969.

I have the complete ID4 you describe and could upload the 30 tracks disc (in my case labeled disc 1, though) or both, if you want - just a note of warning: the source I downloaded it from only had it in 128 kbps, so if you need a higher bitrate I'm sorry. Lemme know and I up tonight.
OK, here's Rare American Film Music of the 1960's Part 2, lots of good stuff in here including Lalo Schifrin's "Who's Minding the Mint", and Kenyon Hopkins "Downhill Racer". Hope you all enjoy it!

and this super rare British score:
"All Night Long" featuring Tubby Hayes, Johnny Scott and Charles Mingus
Here's a doozy, a file full of exremely rare Barry Gray cuts. All excellent quality. There's a Word file included which gives the provenance to tall the tracks. There's some really interesting stuff like an unused theme for Thunderbirds, and Barry Gray's take on things like the U.N.C.L.E theme and Man in a Suitcase!
Hello my friends, hoping the month of Nov brings better times. And to start things off on a positive note (while trying to forget about a pretty horrible Oct) I'd like to post Death walks on High Heels by Stelvio Cipriani. I can't remember it ever being posted here (although I may of course be wrong) I did do a quick search which produced no results, so hoping it will prove useful to someone.
@ steve You may have noticed that I am trying to publish on a monthly basis an MS Excel spread sheet with all links posted during the relevant month. To complete the October list I would need some additional information related to the composer's names of the TV themes you posted on October 31. Before asking, I checked on IMDb and found the following: Man About The House: John Hawksworth. Joe 90: Barry Gray. Love Is All Around (Mary Tyler Moore): Patrick Williams. Rhoda: Billy Goldenberg. Vision On: Wayne Hill. I Spy: Earle H. Hagen. Could you please confirm the above? For some other TV Series, several composers are credited. Could you please indicate who composed the main theme? F Troop: William Lava, Frank Comstock, Richard LaSalle. It Takes A Thief: Benny Carter, Ralph Ferraro, Billy Goldenberg, Benny Golson, Dave Grusin. Banacek: Jack Elliott, Allyn Ferguson. For the last one, "Jacky - White Horses" I did not find any information at all, provided it is the right title. Thank you for your co-operation and your answer at your earliest convenience to allow me to post the October link list which is ready.
@ Quinlan White Horses brings back some fond childhood memories...ahhhh when TV was great ;-) Anyway, White Horses was written by Michael Carr and Ben Nisbet.
It was sung by Jacky (Jackie Lee) who also had another TV hit in 1971 providing the theme song for RUPERT (the bear)...
Alright, hastily trying to restore some form of credibility before I turn in for the night, here is a seldom heard score which may prove a treat for sci fi fantasy fans, particularly of the Ray Harryhausen kind.
Here is Laurie (The Avengers) Johnson's score for The First men in the moon (1964).
In 1967, Frank Zappa released an LP called "Lumpy Gravy". Each side was a single 15-minute track containing various variations on a musical theme, sliced up (à la Naked Lunch) and interspersed with sound effects, field recordings, electronic noise, etc.
A few years ago I excerpted all of the music sections (from a 1991? CD)and cut them into two eight-minute suites, in order to try to bring some cohesiveness to the music. I think it's got some great compositional ideas. Recommended to anyone vaguely interested in American experimental.

Isbum, we do what we can my friend ;) I guess that makes it ok to post the rest of The Unforgiven set now, but I really did post the best disc methinks. Hopefully someone(s) enjoyed it.
I'll have some oddities coming up soon, but end of month time is always busy for me. Be back soon.
@ everyone who hasn't yet posted a track for the Travel Project - please do so! This is YOUR project dagnabbit, so make it special:)
F-Troop I'm pretty sure is Bill Lava It Takes a Thief is Dave Grusin Banacek is as far as I can gather another Billy Goldenberg gem
If anyone has enjoyed the Barry Gray stuff I have tons of really high audio quality tracks from most of the shows divided files by show, ie UFO with 87 tracks, Captain Scarlet 36 tracks etc, etc
@ clint's archive & steve Thanks to both of you for the information. You're super.
@ isbum Master, whenever you can clean the place, I'm ready to post the October link list.
@ all We are facing a drastic slowdown in the number of links in October: 368 links where we were close to 1000 in June or July. We've got to wake up! And this is including me. At least the quality is still here.
Hi, I know Oct was pretty shi**y (you should have seen it from my view). I'm currently trying to move out (from a bad relationship) and move on all in the next 30 days or so, and find full time work at the same time, that's my excuse for the poor Oct show anyway. But even during this I am determined to try and make Nov look a little better around here, I felt bad about not be able to do much during last month, but there was really little I could do about it.
@ Quinlan
I can also confirm: I Spy: Earle H. Hagen Joe 90 is the Great Barry Gray
Ennioman
BTW would second Isbum's requests, what a handsome list buddy! Hopefully will find time to post 2 or 3 things later.
I'm very sorry to hear about your current state of affairs and I can relate all-too well to some of the problems you're going to face in the immediate future. I can only wish you strength and good luck. If I can help you out with any other rotten cd-r of yours, I'll be glad to do so.
And I guess, in no way does anyone here need to excuse him or herself for their absence or "performance" - least of all clint's archive. I've always loved this blog's team-spirit (already while I was reading anonymously) and it's just a little worrying that so many of the regular participants seem to have vanished during last month...
@ Parzival I couldn't agree more with you my friend, a wonderful team spirit here. The last rotten CD-r I checked was: REQUEST Jerry Goldsmith's FIERCE CREATURES If anyone can help?
In the meantime, since TV themes seems to be big here at the moment, here's the exceptionally good full soundtrack for
The Adventures Of Robinson Crusoe 1965 by Robert Mellin & Gian Piero
@ ennioman - Thanks for the compliment and backup on my request list. I did quite a lot of research on those, so, I hope we'll be seeing some of them show up here.
Re: The slowdown in activity. 1. With 50 to 100 blogs posting soundtracks, perhaps a saturation point has been met.
2. So many blogs going private and requiring hoops and ladders to get in, and stay in, has driven away people who would share otherwise.
3. The recent conviction of a woman who shared and downloaded music has effectively scared a big percentage of the community.
4. Something I haven't thought of yet. ;)
Nomwl1 once said to me " I suppose if everyone left and it was only you, me, and a few others, I'd still be happy." He knew what it's all about.
@ italianjob - Thanks for the scores by Nico Fidenco! These are fresh and vibrant to me. Just when I think I've heard every delightful Italian composer, comes another one to savor.
@ steve - I have been dlding your compilations but haven't gotten around to listening to any yet. I just want to say thanks in advance for posting them.
Ruggo says thanks too! I know he's lovin' these. :)
What's the protocol on posting something found on another site? Do I just re-up myself or post the original link and credit the site it's from (although I don't know if they'd want the exposure?). What I do know is, it is very rare and been requested here on a few occasions, but nothing has ever been found.. It's never had an original release, so must be a boot, not even had chance to listen to the quality yet?
Sorry mate, 'Music and effects' track, I used to work in the industry, they appear on Digital master tapes of films, used for when a film is dubbed in a foreign language.
It is the Lethal Weapon 4 score.
I didn't know if to paste a link here as the blog may not want their site bounced randomly all over the internet.
Warhawk from Christopher Lennertz: http://forums.ffshrine.org/showthread.php?t=46633&highlight=warhawk It's free subscription and you'll get amagnificent score from Lennertz... one after Debney's Lair.
Sad to report that my amplifier has finally passed away after many many years of faithful service. It is survived by a CD stacker, cassette and radio. The funeral will be held at my place, with a short reception afterwards. Friends and relatives are requested to bring music.
As a result, I cannot at present actually listen to anything (gah!). So here's one from the dusty corners of my hard drive, which I know is sounding ok, and not been posted before...
REQUEST: Don't laugh, but looking for the soundtrack to "Perfect", yes, the John Travolta and Jamie Lee Curtis flick. Also "Gable and Lombard", by Michel Legrand. Thanks in advance if anyone can help!
@ filmpac Hello bud, I have Gable and Lombard, only released as an LP I believe, the rip on my drive is only split as 2 tracks (side A and B)@ 192. I can't honestly remember what the sound quality is like. But let me know if you want it. I have something on its way up right now, which will have to be my 5th and final of the night, so can do it tomorrow if you wish.
I lost my Amp last year actually, a Sherwood, and replaced it with the Sony DS1200ES, which soon helped dry my tears.
@ ennioman - Nice looking amp there, my friend, I'm drooling. The recently departed was also a Sony, but doubtless an older model.
Hold up on Gable & Lombard please, let's see what the others come up with first. I'm kinda anal about having separate tracks, so if nobody else can help, I'll ask you to shoot it up the line in the hope that one of our wizards can separate the tracks. Cheers matey!
Sure, I know what you mean, I feel the same way about it, but it doesn't tend to show up that often, which is why I bagged it. Well you know it's there if you want it, just say the word.
Yeah I think the Sony was new out last year, I remember I had to wait a bit longer for the Black model.
Just thought I'd re-up my soundtrack want-list. :)

Thanks, as always! Happy to help out anyone I can with their seeks! :)
@ rocket - So I couldn't sell you on "Perfect" being about a hard driving "Rolling Stone" reporter exposing superbug staff infections at health clubs? Lookout SPOILER here: Sharing leg warmers caused the outbreak!
Having listened to "The Manchurian Candidate" courtesy of Clint's Archive, and also recently "The Arrangement" I was wondering if anyone had any more David Amaram? I realise he's not exactly prolific but maybe there are some bits and pieces or maybe some concert works floating around? Many thanks.
As per request...Here's is the great score to the Spike Lee film

I just wanted to send out a big thanks for your upload of Cipriani's "Death Walks On High Heels." I just got the movie last week and have been waiting to check it out. I'm really looking forward to it now after hearing that soundtrack. After enjoying his work for Femina Ridens any posts with his name attached are sure to grab my attention.
Hi everyone. Congratulations on a fantastic blog. First time I've posted on here. I'm primarily fan of film misic, although I do enjoy a wide range of musical genres.
I hope I'm not being cheeky, but I'm trying to complete my John Barry collection. I'm looking for for Swept from the Sea. If anybody has a copy I would eternally grateful
First up today, A Nightmare on Elm street 1 and 2 @ 192 music by Charles Bernstein and Chris Young. http://rapidshare.com/files/67136815/ANightmareOnElmStreetI_II.zip.html
also Heres A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors 1987 Angelo Badalamenti @ 128, dont be put off at the 128 br, it sounds pretty damn good. Why is it some 128 rips sound better to me than some higher br rips? Seems strange but true..
If anyone would like the rest of the sequels please ask. These are also @ 128, needless to say, these were not my own rips and had them on my drives for years.
Lee Gagnon "Jérémie" Vinyl rip in 320Kbps. "There are certain albums that even hardened soundtrack junkies like us have been looking for for years. This is one of those albums. A crazy electronic funk album from a French Canadian jazz ballet, this record was only issued in tiny quantities in the Montreal/Quebec area. Why is it so good? The instrumentation. The music. The breaks. Everything is in here - it's completely eclectic and outstandingly funky. Acoustic guitar, lashings of wah, flute, vocals, synth, drums and more. "
Wow, what a wonderful listen Lee Gagnon's Jérémie is. Never heard it before, and it inspired me to try and do a bit of work on the original album cover, just cleaned it up a bit and removed some of that heavy ring wear, will up it in a moment.
@ isbum Your request of November 1. Jazz In Paris_ Jazz & Cinema Vol. 3. Soundtracks of "Les Loups Dans La Bergerie (The Wolves In The Sheepfold)" by Serge Gainsbourg arranged by Alain Goraguer, "Les Tripes Au Soleil (Checkerboard)" by Andre Hodeir and "The Connection" performed by Daniel Humair Soultet. Ripped from CD @ 320 + complete HR artwork:
OTOH, I can observe that there was no download (yet) on my contribution to the "Music that Travels" project (North by Northwest). Does it mean that it's not considered? Cheers
@ clint's archive Yes I did understand that the "Music That Travels" project was being held over another month because isbum was short of music for it. I must say that I was not too inspired by this project (I mean I did not really know what to propose). When isbum said that he was requiring more tracks to complete the project, I tried to think it over a bit more (that's a tremendous effort for my small brain) and uploaded "North By Northwest" by Bernard Hermann. But there has been no download yet. So I wondered whether it had not been considered because not fitting well enough the project theme. This is to try to propose something else more appropriate if necessary.
@ double-o-soul When copying and pasting the link you posted for "Jeremie", I obtain each time an error 404 page. So I cannot identify the file link and therefore report it on the current month link list. Could you please help? Thank you
Well north by Northwest certainly fits the bill for me, I'm guessing no-one has downloaded it as yet simply because it's already such a well known and astablished piece. I'm sure it fits in fine with the general theme.
@ quinlan - First off, thank you so much my friend for presenting Jazz in Cinema!
Re: North by Northwest - This is a main title and I am wishing for score pieces.
My example, (see top post) "Port Au Prince" by Laurence Rosenthal from "The Comedians" represents the characters arrival in a new country. The ethnic instrumentation signals the excitement of being in a new part of the world.
If you have another look at the thread, you will see that mr.t has posted several fine examples.
I don't really want to choose from more than one. What you choose will have your (screen) name attached to it, so, my involvement shouldn't be required.
We have an international group of film score enthusiasts here, this project should represent us.
I have faith that we can succeed. You are amazing people.
Thankyou, bistis6 for Swept from the sea. You have truly made my day! Also a big thankyou to Ennioman for your help. It's so refreshing to come across such nice and obliging people! Once again THANKYOU!
@ seasy - There is a DVD rip kicking around of Airplane, which contains the red/white zone dialogue from the movie. I am without any means of listening to anything at the moment, but perhaps some kind soul could upload just that track for you (I think it's track #2). You could even edit out the two controllers arguing about what the zones are for for a straight version.
@ isbum - Just a thought, that track might make a nice intro to the Travel Project.
@ isbum - Thanks heaps bud for Perfect!! Hope it wasn't too painful for you and Pinky:)
@ ennioman - Hold off on "Gable & Lombard", looks like I have sourced a good rip @320 bitrate. Thanks though for the offer, mate.
@ filmpac - Actually, I have been kicking around the idea of opening with the Paul Williams track you found that was used in "Thunderbolt & Lightfoot".
This blogg seems convivial and I hope it will stay like that. it's a pity some problems exist on musical blogg;I don't understand why some disappear suddenly as "Doom"did,or close to "not invited" as La Leyenda.May be the administrators forgot the words of Cervantes in Don Quijote: "Where there is music, there is no place for evil"! Anyway, let's go on with Film Music probably the most complete kind of music. I like the cat at the end of the pages...what's his or her name ? Georges
@ isbum - Apart from the fact it's a vocal track (and I thought we were against them), it's a darn *fine* vocal track and would suit the mood quite nicely methinks.
I see Mr T has given you a couple of selections to choose from. To save Isbum the trouble... "please choose just one track for inclusion in the Travel Project, only one, only one, only..."
Filmpac over and out, roger Roger. Remember the white zone is for loading and unloading of passengers only, surely you jest, don't call me Shirley! Looks like I picked a bad day to stop listening to music (sigh).
@ steve - Just want you to know that I am totally digging the 70's Vol.1 collection! Quincy is always appreciated! I'll add them. So steve, a volume 2 is still coming?
Thanks for yoyur response re "Airplane". I've got the dvd so all else failing I could use that. It's just that I know there's definitely a set of SFX material that has the 'pure' version of the message.
Thanks for your response. Incidentally: 'Do you like movies about Gladiators?'
Includes Gigi Laura Fascination I'm a Dreamer, Aren't We All? Theme from "The Best Years of Our Lives" The Last Time I Saw Paris Theme from "Irma la Douce" We Kiss in a Shadow It Might as Well Be Spring Hi-Lili, Hi-Lo The Second Time Around Song from "Two for the Seesaw"
Also includes liner notes written by film composer Hugo Friedhofer.
american soundtracks of the 1970's vol 2, and the 1980's, and rare Uk music from '66 to '69 all on its way but I'm writing this at Heathrow and am out of hard drives reach til wednesday. See you all then.
Would like to help contribute to this Blog. I've been working a lot and have not had a chance to really read this Blog or contribute. Someone requested "Fierce Creatures" by Jerry Goldsmith
@ isbum Jazz In Paris_Jazz & Cinema Vol. 4 with music from OST of "Touchez Pas Au Grisbi" (Grisbi / Hands Off The Loot), "Le Piege" (No Escape / Any Man's Woman), "Le Saint Mene La Danse" (The Dance Of Death), "Les Ennemis" (A Touch Of Treason), "Le Proces" (The Trial). The musicians are 1st class french jazz musicians of the 60s such as Martial Solal & Alain Goraguer, Piano, Michel de Villers (sax), Pierre Michelot, Bass, Christian Garros, Drums, Henri Crolla, Guitar and so on... Ripped from CD @ 320 + complete HR artwork in 2 parts in the following folder:
@ quinMel - Always my pleasure to play something you find of interest.
Quinlan please have patience if I don't immediately get all the music you and others have posted. I am ripping a number of Lp's at the moment, so it may take a while before I can upload and listen to these.
The following record looked fine, but was trouble when played. Best I could do mates.
"Michel Legrand and Friends" 1976 Lp @320 Featuring Joe Beck, Ron Carter, Grady Tate, Randy Becker and Phil Woods.
Does anyone happen to have Riz Ortolani's Confessione Di Un Commissario Di Polizia Al Procuratore Della Repubblica?
Philippe Sarde's Dai Sbirro seems to be an obscure score (I only found hints at a 45rpm release), but the movie must have been a major release. Anyone ever came across the soundtracK?
And last but not least. The French singer Mireille Mathieu cheerfully caroled La bonne annee (The good year) for a movie of the same name. The score was written by Francis Lai, but there seems to exits no release at all. I imagine the song might have appeared as part of a compilation. Does anyone know about that or even have that song?
@ classic score lovers - I found this just last weekend and have to share.
Elmer Bernstein's 11th score and one of his earliest known recordings available, made for Republic Pictures, the last of the "B" studios to fall at the end of the 1950s. From the back cover notes...
"This recording was made from original acetate discs in the Republic Pictures Music Archive preserved in the Arts & Communications Archive at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. Used by that studio as safety checks for selections later printed on film tracks, these discs preserve the exact recordings used in the finished motion picture, but without the dialogue. The collection consists of more than 7,000 discs from most Republic feature films, serials and documentaries made or released by the studio from 1939 to 1956."
Gosh, wouldn't I love to see more of that 7,000 collection released. Still, we can enjoy this very special historic recording from one of the giants of film scoring.
@ filmpac - Yes. I did. Thanks for filling that "Void".
A reminder: filmpac also located a terrific promo of Alex Heffes "The Parole Officer". If you want to hear this, just say so, filmpac or I can provide a re-up.
@ isbum Confess! The Confessions of a Police Officer were Duckling Tortures (10 of 12 trax, that is). LOL
I did not download the Ragno-archive (by the way, the Italian title translates "in the tight grip of the spider"), but I bet it contains trax 11+12 from the Duckling plus 9 Amazone trax.
Please have a look of the other disc from your 2 CD-set, where the policer officer will have signed his confessions, I am sure.
Carrasco Procuratore Della Repubblica Colonna Sonora
@ carrasco - Very sorry for the Confession confusion.:( Also, to the others who were taken into the wrong booth.
@ quinlan - I have removed the two incorrect links and pray that with a few hail Mary's I can be forgiven.
@ parzival - Once a Cd is burned, as is with "Confession", I don't believe a bit rate can be confirmed. If you downloaded it from Score Baby, it would be what I have.
@ steve, filmpac, quinlan, H2o, ennioman and segroeg - Fantastic shares! So many that I have no way to express my gratitude individually without starting a new post! Thank you!
@ h2o, parzival - Thanks for those compliments. Started my day off with a big smile.
@ le monocle - This is a strange little beastie, half vocal, half instrumental, part smooth jazz, part psychedelia that would be right at home in a biker flick, beats the heck out of me. Not only that, the movie doesn't even have the mandatory 5 votes to get a rating on IMDB. So, we'll chalk this up as both an oddity and a rarity, hope you like...
@ filmpac - As you may have noticed over the past months, our friend manucosma is an expert on all of Claude Bolling's music. If he doesn't have this already, what a marvelous surprise it will be.
I nearly forgot something,
@ ze carlos - A hearty welcome to you! Tony and I have been talking about the fantastic shares you have provided at Dollari Rosso. I am very pleased to have you visit our little place. Thank you!
@ isbum - Le Monocle got le moniker 'coz he requested it, but I knew there was somebody else who was a Bolling freak. Thanks for your Hugo & Denny, I know these are gonna be pretty cool, I've got them ready to play next.
Quinlan, thanks too for the Jazz in Cinema, and Segroeg for Rififi. So much great music, so little time. You lot have turned me into a bit of a jazzer, great stuff for those quiet times, cheers!
Tony, I do believe you'll have a nice surprise on your return, just checking some Francis Lai now, will be ready to post soon.
Cheers all, keep up the good work... and send in your Travel Project selection dagnabbit, friend Isbum is chomping at the bit!
@ parzival - A request of yours from way back on October 1st. To the best of my knowledge never got a full release, but I did find two tracks totalling 16:29, on what I suspect is a promo compilation. IMHO, a beautifully understated score to what was a beautifully understated war film. Enjoy...

Thanks so much filmpac - you're such a fantastic researcher!
I remember actually recording some of the score from a run-down VHS-tape with full sfx and dialogue just to keep some of the musical passages for later listening pleasure. Unfortunately my crappy recording got lost over time. Hearing these tracks open with the exact delecate music I have remembered so dearly over the years almost brings tears to my eyes...
WOW- SO SO SO glad I found you guys again! I can't tell you how much I missed this when the last place went to hell. I'm looking for the OST from 2001's "Enigma". I'm digging up some great posts for you guys too- very soon. I'm almost done sorting and reorganizing the the 560GB worth of digital music I've got- then it's on to digitizing some of the 1000 albums . I think I have a bit of a compulsion.
Thanks in advance for Enigma if anyone has it! JAMK
Highlights from this include: The Mod Squad by Al Caiola Main Theme from "N.Y.P.D." by Johnny "hammond" Smith Theme from "Barnaby Jones" by The Daniel Caine Orchestra and the knockout version of "Streets of San Francisco" by The Ventures
Hi, I stumbled across this blog some days ago and now it's one of my favourites :-) Found some cool stuff here. I still have some requests though. Hope somebody can help me.

Clinton - The Astronaut's Wife Clint Mansell - Sonny Brian Tyler - Six-String Samurai Egon Riedel - 7 Days to live Christopher Franke - The Calling

Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks and Greets!

@ All Hi guys, with all the new found friends here, I wanted to re-open one of my very favourite files, The Irish Legend, VAN MORRISON. Not visited it in some 6 or 7 months and really wanted to try and start filling the spaces. I'd appreciate any help at all please guys. With such a velvet voice I generally try and compliment his work with a higher bit rate where possible. @ Джабраилов - Wow, what a nick, not Greek by any chance;) Here's some old Riz albums I have posted previously (links still good), including your request for Valachi Papers. Enjoy...
No Way! Well there you go, I certainly can't knock your taste in music pal! Yes I know of the Bang Records Contractual Obligation Album, isn't the 31 tracks that he seemlessly knocked out with such ease. Never heard it though, so will hot foot it to your link, thanks so much pal.
..and I thought I maybe in no-mans land asking for Van the Man here, just goes to show.
I love the man, he's Pure Genius (pun intended) ;-)
If you need anything that is not listed above, let me know and I can return the favour. Ennioman
With the recent Hill & Spencer compilation albums, thought I would post a complete score from one of their movies. This is the one with the "Grau Grau Grau" song, and a fun little trip it is too...
Blimey, that's a big ol mess over there isn't it. Is there a direct download link? I can see the tracks, tried on the first one, just opens up quicktime and plays track?
@ ennioman - Ah, Quicktime, don't you just love it. Alas, you do need to download each track individually, but if you right click and "Save Target As" you should get to save the track. If I recall, you can do 2 or 3 at one time, if'n that helps any. Also if I recall, it's a quick feed, doesn't take too long at all.
@ Джабраилов - How the heck do you pronounce it? Just so I know who I'm talking to.
If indeed you are Greek, I love the music Stavros and Mikis. Sorry, I haven't a clue how to copy and paste or whatever it takes in order to make your name show here properly.
Man! You have 21 of those titles! Who'd have thought there were people among our small group that also appreciate the great Van. I'm overwhelmed! Segroeg, if you have 21 one of them mate, to hell with respecting any order, I'm sure both myself and Filmpac would welcome anything from the list that you would care to share, thanks so much. (I'm just making a quick cover for the Bang Records Contractual Obligation Album) Nothing major, but will do the job nevertheless. I'll post it here if you need it. Also if you need anything that is not listed above and I have it, please let me know, I'll be happy to post.
does anybody out there have any albums for the above 2 great funk groups of the 70's or any links as to where i could get them. thanks to all the score.
@ ennioman & the score - A reminder of an awesome search tool Share Miner. This little puppy runs a bewdiful Google search on websites & blogs, throwing up anything with downloadable links. A quick test on "Funkadelic" and "Van Morrison" returns quite a few sites for you to explore. Try it, you won't believe your eyes!
Checked out that search engine, works well, but I think on the Van material I'm going to leave it to our good friends here. I actually found 'Saint Dominic's Preview' but not only was it @128, it didn't even include the classic 'Almost Independence Day' :-O
I'm amazed at what Segroeg has and really looking forward to what we can collectively come up with.
@ tony - I hope this will be a nice present for your blog when you return. Not my rip, all thanks and credit to the original ripper, it's nice and clean, and sounding lailicious:) From a United Artists LP...
The front cover indicates Francis Lai plays tunes from Henry Mancini, Richard Harris, Burt Bacharach, John Barry, Francis Lai, Lennon & McCartney. If anyone can identify the Richard Harris track, I'd be mighty grateful, because there is no McArthurs Park on here. I'm assuming it's complete, but I'm stumped.
@ ennioman - Fair enough, let's see what we all come up with. Thanks for the Van covers mate, I've spent years staring at that little caricature on the blog which I adopted for my cover, makes a pleasant change:)
Following Filmpac's advice, i tried to find, with shareminer, some VM links for titles i don't have, an i found this AWESOME page, containing all the official and unofficial VM's discography
http://avaxhome.ru/music/vm_main.html
The problem is i don't understand the complex system of password
@ filmpac I'm "eda-88" my surname is Dzhabrailov-Eldar. (Dagestan-Kavkaz) :) For me easy like i has registed in gmail. Just talk "eda-88". I'm bad talking on ENGLISH...Sorry. My blog http://my.opera.com/eda-88/blog/
Guys, thanks to all, i love Ortolani. La Piovra & Cristoforo Colombo in my blog http://my.opera.com/eda-88/blog/riz-ortolani-christoforo-colombo http://my.opera.com/eda-88/blog/riz-ortolani-la-piovra
Do you have G-M De Angelis-"Il Signor Robinson"(comedy with Paolo Villaggio)??
Hello all. As promised please find Rare American Film Music of the 1970's Part 2. Another goody IMO - includes Elmer Bernsteins "Report to the Commissioner", Dave Grusin's "Murder by Death", Lalo Schifrin's "St Ives" and Jerry Goldsmith's "S*P*Y's". Just a re-request here, apart from "The Manchurian Candidate" and "The Arrangement", does anyone have any more David Amaram. I've only recently discovered him, and I'm extremely impressed. He produces a truly American elegiac sound grounded in jazz, a real find.
Thanks so much I would love some quality boots from Van!
@ Filmpac
Glad you are enjoying the covers, the cartoon Image wasn't exactly a lot to play with I agree.
@ Segroeg
I missed that one on my Shareminer dig, and boy, do I agree with you, that is one nightmare site! Just spent over an hour there and feel like I didn't get anywhere.. I have registered and sent a PM to Admin. I have downloaded a few text files containing links, but can't open them without the p/w, everything over there is very VERY slow in deed.
We shall see, meanwhile I think I'd rather stick to the trusted and reliable friends found here.
@ Eda 88
Now I know that name well! Great to see you here bud. And your English is Good! ;-)
May be somebody know,I am looking for a long time the very Rare Score of Pino Donaggio "Scoop"? May be who can hear? Thanks in advance! Or i can find it in previously posts? May,June,July,August,September?
@ eda-88 Reur request for Pino Donaggio's "Scoop". If you look at the top of the main page of this blog, you'll notice that there is a link to an Excel spreadsheet listing all links posted since the opening of this blog. This document is downloadable in a matter of a few seconds and there is an explanation on how to use it. Obviously to be able to open it you must have the MS Excel software. If you do, there are two easy ways to find what you're looking for: 1. Select an entire sheet (highlight), then go to the menu "Data", select "Sort", "Column "D" and then OK. It will result in the sheet sorted out by artist name alphabetical order. Go down to the names starting with a "P" and find all Pino Donaggio's links (if any) grouped together. 2. An even simpler way. Select column "D" by clicking on the "D" of the column letter line (very first line). Then go to the menu "Edition", select "Search" and enter the Pino Donaggio's name in the space provided for. Then click repeatedly on "Next" and the search engine will drive you directly to the Pino Donaggio's link lines after each click. I did it for you and unfortunately did not find in the previous months what you were looking for (Scoop). I hope these explanations are not too confusing. If you need any help, please do not hesitate to let me (us) know. Cheers

Tell us about what kind of music you like, be it scores, jazz, lounge or classical. Heck, we might have a suggestion or two for you.
Welcome, and have a nice visit.

Thanks for Halloween...;)
Let's juice up the travel comp...!

Cheers
Parzival, thanks for your help. It will be ok to have the 30 tracks cd... even in 128k!

@ steve
You may have noticed that I am trying to publish on a monthly basis an MS Excel spread sheet with all links posted during the relevant month.
To complete the October list I would need some additional information related to the composer's names of the TV themes you posted on October 31.
Before asking, I checked on IMDb and found the following:
Man About The House: John Hawksworth.
@ Quinlan
White Horses brings back some fond childhood memories...ahhhh when TV was great ;-)
Anyway, White Horses was written by Michael Carr and Ben Nisbet.
It was sung by Jacky (Jackie Lee) who also had another TV hit in 1971 providing the theme song for RUPERT (the bear)...
hmm, I'm sounding nerdy...!!!

Sweet dreams dear friends!

Enjoy.
@ filmpac - F@M's The Unforgiven set has sold out. A rare and happy event for them.
Great of you to promote this release on "Halloween Treats"!
However, I doubt you'll be getting a check in the mail. ;)
@ Quinlan
F-Troop I'm pretty sure is Bill Lava
It Takes a Thief is Dave Grusin
Banacek is as far as I can gather another Billy Goldenberg gem
If anyone has enjoyed the Barry Gray stuff I have tons of really high audio quality tracks from most of the shows divided files by show, ie UFO with 87 tracks, Captain Scarlet 36 tracks etc, etc
@ charade and parzival--
I ask for one post, and I get TWO!
Is this blog great or what!?
Thanks guys so much for the "BABY" music! :)
@ clint's archive & steve
Thanks to both of you for the information. You're super.
@ isbum
Master, whenever you can clean the place, I'm ready to post the October link list.
@ all
We are facing a drastic slowdown in the number of links in October: 368 links where we were close to 1000 in June or July.
We've got to wake up! And this is including me.
At least the quality is still here.
@ quinlan
You name it! Only a third of the links, half the number of comments and a lot less of the regular staff here...what's going on?
Hi, I know Oct was pretty shi**y (you should have seen it from my view). I'm currently trying to move out (from a bad relationship) and move on all in the next 30 days or so, and find full time work at the same time, that's my excuse for the poor Oct show anyway. But even during this I am determined to try and make Nov look a little better around here, I felt bad about not be able to do much during last month, but there was really little I could do about it.
@ Quinlan
I can also confirm:
I Spy: Earle H. Hagen
Joe 90 is the Great Barry Gray
Ennioman
BTW would second Isbum's requests, what a handsome list buddy!
Hopefully will find time to post 2 or 3 things later.
@ ennioman
I'm very sorry to hear about your current state of affairs and I can relate all-too well to some of the problems you're going to face in the immediate future.
I can only wish you strength and good luck.
If I can help you out with any other rotten cd-r of yours, I'll be glad to do so.
And I guess, in no way does anyone here need to excuse him or herself for their absence or "performance" - least of all clint's archive.
I've always loved this blog's team-spirit (already while I was reading anonymously) and it's just a little worrying that so many of the regular participants seem to have vanished during last month...
@ Parzival
I couldn't agree more with you my friend, a wonderful team spirit here. The last rotten CD-r I checked was:
REQUEST
Jerry Goldsmith's FIERCE CREATURES
If anyone can help?
In the meantime, since TV themes seems to be big here at the moment, here's the exceptionally good full soundtrack for
The Adventures Of Robinson Crusoe 1965 by Robert Mellin & Gian Piero
http://rapidshare.com/files/66982799/AdofRobCru.zip.html
Enjoy
Ennioman
@ quinlan - The post is ready.
4. Something I haven't thought of yet. ;)
Nomwl1 once said to me " I suppose if everyone left and it was only you, me, and a few others, I'd still be happy."
He knew what it's all about.
@ italianjob - Thanks for the scores by Nico Fidenco! These are fresh and vibrant to me.
Just when I think I've heard every delightful Italian composer, comes another one to savor.
Please share more music by him anytime you wish.
@ Isbum
Good points mate.
Do you by any chance know of any Nico Fidenco titles you are after, that have not been posted here?
If I can help I will.
Meanwhile I have another TV classic on its way up the tube ;-)
Ennioman
Ok, here is the soundtrack for the 1972 TV series
Kung Fu by Jim Helms
Apparently the original series was devised initially for a certain Bruce Lee, now not a lot of people know that.. or maybe they do, I dunno ;-)

@brenton Girl
Thanks for the heads up on Spartcus Tsunami version. You don't have to post it. Thanks anyway.
@ steve - I have been dlding your compilations but haven't gotten around to listening to any yet.
I just want to say thanks in advance for posting them.
Ruggo says thanks too! I know he's lovin' these. :)
@ All - Is anyone here familiar with composer Andrea Guerra?
Fairly new to the score scene, she has some titles that I would be into hearing,
"The Protagonists"
"Semanta Santa"
"Alla Luce Del Sole"
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Ennioman
@ Isbum
Actually scrap that. As I feared, it's just an M & E track (which I hate) :-(
Ennioman
@ eman- What? Music&Entertainment?
Wanna tell us what it was?
As to OPL's (other peoples links),
don't unless you have permission and re-upping them is fine as long as you credit the person.
The best way to avoid all toes is to tell us about it and leave the blogs link.
@ Isbum
Sorry mate, 'Music and effects' track, I used to work in the industry, they appear on Digital master tapes of films, used for when a film is dubbed in a foreign language.
It is the Lethal Weapon 4 score.
I didn't know if to paste a link here as the blog may not want their site bounced randomly all over the internet.

Next up, from 1975 Zorro by Guido and Maurizio De Angelis.
BTW, these posts tonight are not my rips, just been on my drives for years..

John Cameron "Kes" (1969), LP @256:
http://rapidshare.com/files/67044508/JC-Kes.zip
@ ennioman - 'Tis always darkest before the dawn.
REQUEST:
Don't laugh, but looking for the soundtrack to "Perfect", yes, the John Travolta and Jamie Lee Curtis flick. Also "Gable and Lombard", by Michel Legrand. Thanks in advance if anyone can help!
@ filmpac
Hello bud,
I have Gable and Lombard, only released as an LP I believe, the rip on my drive is only split as 2 tracks (side A and B)@ 192.
I Would highly recommend it:
http://www.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProduct.action?product=STR-DA1200ES&productsku=STRDA1200ESB.CEK&site=odw_en_GB&pageType=TechnicalSpecs&imageType=Main&category=HFC+Receiver#tab
Ennioman
PS thanks for Kes, never had this, fine movie also.
And so, to the last post of the evening, anyone for a bit of Zombi action?
Zombi 3 by Stefano Mainetti
http://rapidshare.com/files/67052122/Zombi_3_Stefano_Mainetti.zip.html
I hope something has proved useful from tonight's offerings.
Best
Ennioman
@ filmpac
Sure, I know what you mean, I feel the same way about it, but it doesn't tend to show up that often, which is why I bagged it. Well you know it's there if you want it, just say the word.
Yeah I think the Sony was new out last year, I remember I had to wait a bit longer for the Black model.
Ennioman
@ filmpac - I have "Perfect" now, so, I'll rip it for you tonight.
@ rocket from mars - You've been pardoned. ;)

Hi All
Having listened to "The Manchurian Candidate" courtesy of Clint's Archive, and also recently "The Arrangement" I was wondering if anyone had any more David Amaram? I realise he's not exactly prolific but maybe there are some bits and pieces or maybe some concert works floating around? Many thanks.

There seems to be several among us with current or past SFX connections.
I'm looking for the message that's played outside LAX airport about "no parking in the red/white zone" etc. Remember it in the movie 'Airplane'?
We've got a Christmas party coming up with an international travel theme, & I'd love to have that message to drop in the proceedings ocasionally.
Appreciate any help.
SEASY
Can anyone help - please?
@ Ennioman
@ Donovan's Brain
No problem mate, glad I could help and glad you are enjoying it.
@ Izzy58
Welcome, I'll rip Swept from the sea from my original CD for you later today.
Ennioman
Izzy58,
SWEPT FROM THE SEA was posted somewhere a while back. I still have the file and will have it up soon.
@ bistis6
No problem pal, saves me a job! Cheers.
First up today,
A Nightmare on Elm street 1 and 2 @ 192 music by Charles Bernstein and Chris Young.

also Heres A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors 1987 Angelo Badalamenti @ 128, dont be put off at the 128 br, it sounds pretty damn good. Why is it some 128 rips sound better to me than some higher br rips? Seems strange but true..
http://rapidshare.com/files/67146213/ANightmareOnElmStreet3.zip.html

http://my.opera.com/Double%20-O-%20Soul/blog/2007/11/03/lee-gagnon-jeremie#comments
Here's another full soundtrack from TV heaven, from the 80's, THE A TEAM by Mike Post and Pete Carpenter. Again, only a 128 rip, but sounding great.

Wow, what a wonderful listen Lee Gagnon's Jérémie is. Never heard it before, and it inspired me to try and do a bit of work on the original album cover, just cleaned it up a bit and removed some of that heavy ring wear, will up it in a moment.

OTOH, I can observe that there was no download (yet) on my contribution to the "Music that Travels" project (North by Northwest). Does it mean that it's not considered?
Cheers
@ double-o-soul and of course anybody else who may like it, here is a slightly cleaned up version of the Jeremie front Album cover.

I think I'll take a break...
Ennioman
@ Quinlan
I think the "Music that Travels" project is being held over another month due to the fact that there's not enough contributions.
Ennioman
I wonder if anyone would happen to have the following:
THE ANIMAL (Teddy Castellucci)
MR. MAGOO (Michael Tavera; not the 15m promo)
ROCKETMAN (Michael Tavera)
@ clint's archive
Yes I did understand that the "Music That Travels" project was being held over another month because isbum was short of music for it.
@ double-o-soul
When copying and pasting the link you posted for "Jeremie", I obtain each time an error 404 page.
So I cannot identify the file link and therefore report it on the current month link list.
Could you please help?
Thank you
@ Quinlan
Well north by Northwest certainly fits the bill for me, I'm guessing no-one has downloaded it as yet simply because it's already such a well known and astablished piece.
I'm sure it fits in fine with the general theme.
Ennioman
@ Quinlan
I had the same problem, this will get you to your destination ;-)

@ quinlan - First off, thank you so much my friend for presenting Jazz in Cinema!
Re: North by Northwest - This is a main title and I am wishing for score pieces.
My example, (see top post)
"Port Au Prince" by Laurence Rosenthal from "The Comedians" represents the characters arrival in a new country.
'We have an international group of film score enthusiasts here, this project should represent us'
I should point out at this point that I have never spent any time in a Turkish prison.. ;-)
Ennioman
@ ennioman - From your recent experience, isn't that where you are?

You aint wrong there brother!
Turkish prison almost seems appealing..

What do you think?
This blogg seems convivial and I hope it will stay like that.
it's a pity some problems exist on musical blogg;I don't understand why some disappear suddenly as "Doom"did,or close to "not invited" as La Leyenda.May be the administrators forgot the words of Cervantes in Don Quijote:
"Where there is music, there is no place for evil"!
Here's acouple of Quincy Jones tracks from "A Dandy in Aspic" (1968)that should have appeared in the Rare Film Music of the 1960's strand.

@ segroeg - Wonderful shares! Please post "La Citta Prigioiera" and Demarsan's "L'Armee Des Ombres".

I'm guessing for various reasons you may enjoy this.

Thanks for Zeitlin. For the first time I've heard his music except "Body Snatcher". I like this straight jazz.

Confess!

@ carrasco - Very sorry for the Confession confusion.:(
Also, to the others who were taken into the wrong booth.
@ steve, filmpac, quinlan, H2o, ennioman and segroeg -
Fantastic shares!

Thanks again, my friend!:*)

@ ennioman - So Ennioman is a Van the Man fan! Well well well, another thing we have in common, I can probably do you a couple on that list.
Are you familiar with the Bang Records Contractual Obligation Album? If not, get ready for an absolute jaw dropper, at:
WFMU's Beware Of The Blog
By the way, that blog should come with an even bigger health warning than just "Beware", one can get lost in there for days.

With the recent Hill & Spencer compilation albums, thought I would post a complete score from one of their movies. This is the one with the "Grau Grau Grau" song, and a fun little trip it is too...

@ filmpac
Blimey, that's a big ol mess over there isn't it. Is there a direct download link? I can see the tracks, tried on the first one, just opens up quicktime and plays track?
Ennioman
@ filmpac & isbum!!
Great,many thanks,guys!!
You are the best!!
It's my surname!
@ filmpac
Cool, I'm on it ;-)
Ennioman
If indeed you are Greek, I love the music Stavros and Mikis.
Sorry, I haven't a clue how to copy and paste or whatever it takes in order to make your name show here properly.
@ennioman.
From your list, i've got 31 records of the great van morrison.
Do i have to respect the order of your list ?
Tell me :)
Sorry for the exageration, only
21 ones.
@ filmpac - Did you say "if'n"?
Oh my, the Western scores have got a hold on you... pard'ner.
@ Segroeg

A quick test on "Funkadelic" and "Van Morrison" returns quite a few sites for you to explore. Try it, you won't believe your eyes!

Checked out that search engine, works well, but I think on the Van material I'm going to leave it to our good friends here. I actually found 'Saint Dominic's Preview' but not only was it @128, it didn't even include the classic
'Almost Independence Day' :-O
I'm amazed at what Segroeg has and really looking forward to what we can collectively come up with.
Ennioman
ennioman (and any van fans)
i have some quality bootlegs of van the man.
just say the word and I will up some
@ tony - I hope this will be a nice present for your blog when you return. Not my rip, all thanks and credit to the original ripper, it's nice and clean, and sounding lailicious:) From a United Artists LP...
Francis Lai "Plays" (1973), LP @256:
http://rapidshare.com/files/67715763/FL-Plays.zip
The front cover indicates Francis Lai plays tunes from Henry Mancini, Richard Harris, Burt Bacharach, John Barry, Francis Lai, Lennon & McCartney. If anyone can identify the Richard Harris track, I'd be mighty grateful, because there is no McArthurs Park on here. I'm assuming it's complete, but I'm stumped.
@ ennioman - Fair enough, let's see what we all come up with. Thanks for the Van covers mate, I've spent years staring at that little caricature on the blog which I adopted for my cover, makes a pleasant change:)
@Ennioman
Following Filmpac's advice, i tried to find, with shareminer, some VM links for titles i don't have, an i found this AWESOME page, containing all the official and unofficial VM's discography

Reur request for Pino Donaggio's "Scoop".
If you do, there are two easy ways to find what you're looking for:
Cheers
