1 – 200 of 594 Newer› Newest»Welcome to July 2008 at the Filmscorium!
Hard to believe we're already halfway through the year!
As always, I hope you all have fun,
meet some nice people, and find excellent film music.
Don't forget to visit the shops and say hello to Franklynot's great friends!

Here's a little rarity from an unsung composer who's finally beginning to get his due.
AUDREY ROSE - Michael Small
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BPYMI9LG
15 track, no titles, fair sound.
@ ALL - If you guys have any posts that you'd like to reprint here, it's fine with me.
The month ends and you may feel a tad cheated on time for your post to get noticed. isbum understand :)
@ isbum
Thanks for moving the Audrey Rose post. And thanks to my friend Jim for giving it to me in the first place.
@ isbum
Ready when you are to post Filmscorium and Shop link lists as of June 30, 2008.
Cheers
@ quinlan - But...(blinks eyes)
I didn't expect it so fast! :)
@isbum
re: quinlan
That's what she said when the bed broke.
Richard Band Extravaganza : The Arriv@l
http://www.mediafire.com/?ttos22xzx2n
(tracklist at my blog)
and (that doesn't hurt) a few requests I have for some time now. just in case...
Next of Kin by Klaus Schulze
Blue Eyes of a broken doll by Marcello Giombini
Radioactive Dreams by Pete Robinson
Il Coltello Di Ghiaccio by Marcello Giombini
and still (if it exists somewhere) the extended version of Leviathan by Jerry Goldsmith
@ isbum
Would you like to have the July one at the same time?
Request: Could any of you help me out with Carter Burwell's score to
"Three Kings" at something better than the 128 kbt's I have?
Looking to pair it with the Cospiracy Theory I was given. Thanks for any help with this friends.
@ everyone - Wow! June went by way too fast!!! Here are my latest searches...any help would be highly appreciated:)
Outrageous Fortune - Alan Silvestri (I don't know if an album was ever released)
My Science Project - Again I don't even know if an album was released
Trenchcoat - Same as above....unknown soundtrack availability
Tuck Everlasting - William Ross
The Devil and Max Devlin - I seem to remember seeing some Hamlisch tracks somewhere but didn't snatch them up. I'm also on the lookout for all of the Julie Budd songs from this film. In general....anything 'Devlin' if you've got it.
This one might have to be a DVD rip (which I can do if someone can teach me)....I'm looking for the title song to "The Parent Trap II". It was called "Let's Keep What We've Got (And Let's Not Lose It)" and was sung by Marilyn McCoo. Once you've heard it...it is extremely hard to get out of your head...lol.
As usual any point in the right direction on these would be awesome!
@All - A little bit of early John Williams
GUIDE FOR THE MARRIED MAN - 31 trks@192 Thanks to the original uploader.
http://www.divshare.com/download/4848621-d8e
Remember there are 2 parts and both may be accessed via this single link.
A title that may be on the rare side for John Boorman's film. Thanks to the original uploader.
WHERE THE HEART IS - Peter Martin (20 trks@128) Included are 12 paintings representing the 12 months of the year that one of the characters produces during the movie for a calender. They are painted by British artist Timna Woollard and are based on the artwork of the masters. I have figured out what paintings a few are based upon but the others I can't figure out. Anybody else know?
http://www.divshare.com/download/4848755-8a0
Also for fans of the TV series NIGHT GALLERY, here is the theme music by Gil Mellé plus the paintings used for each episode. Also there is a bonus for those who are familiar with THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY, a color version of the painting used in the film.

Emjoy!!!
@ count zero - I managed to hunt up a slightly better bitrate for all of us. You get both in one easy download...
Leith Stevens "War Of The Worlds" (1953), @192:
Leith Stevens "When Worlds Collide" (1951), @192:
http://rapidshare.com/files/126413967/LS-WOTW_WWC.zip
@ gunshotwound - A most interesting share there mate, you've caught my eye with those Night Gallery paitings. Looking forward to, thanks!
@ bistis6 - Thanks for Audrey, and to friend Jim too. Nice one!
Hi all,
i saw the movie when i was very little and the music never leaves me. Now i'm 61 years and still searching for that one soundtrack. 'The Yearling' from Herbert Stothart. Please tell me there is someone out there who has this great soundtrack and is willing to share,
This is my only chance because you're the best.
Ron
@filmpac - Thank you tons for WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE/WAR OF THE WORLDS. I can't remember who requested them but I am glad they did.
I hope you enjoy those NIGHT GALLERY paintings. They are great.
One of the best movies from Otto Preminger "The Cardinal" Here are the music from Jerome Morross LP Rip
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AR2EIF5Z
@ ron
THE YEARLING is still available from F$M and $reen @rchives. As it's still in print perhaps someone here would do a private share.
@ Gunshotwound,
Re: Hot voodoo: basically, no. You could try to capture it at a better bitrate, but given the source material I doubt it would be an improvement.
@3410 - Thank you for checking VOODOO for me. I had a feeling that there wasn't a whole lot that could be done. That's OK. My tape recording taken from my video tape is about the same quality. At least now I have a digital copy.
The soundtrack to "Scorpio" sold out already.
:(
Share at will.
:)
Yeah, what Isbum said...how pissed was I, sitting in traffic, getting the car fixed, etc, to come home and found the ebay hoarding crowd is at it again (hello Delta Force!)!
By the way....how does one get in the private share club? Is it a case by case thing? Just wondering.....
And while I'm back at it, does anyone have SYDNEY STORY OF A CITY (or something along those lines)by Christopher Gordon? It's a promo for a documentary score he did early in his career....I'd be forever grateful!!!
@disneyfella
Believe it or not, there is a short, artless,ok sounding boot of MY SCIENCE PROJECT by Peter Bernstein. If no one beats me to it, I'll put it up tomorrow - runs about 20mins. Fun score!
@ goblinscore - Their's no club.
Just leave an email address with your request for any new or limited edition scores that haven't sold out.
Bistis6
I know that 'The Yearling' is still available but deep in my heart I hope that's someone is willing to share.
Thanks anyway. Ron
@ goblinscore
Here ya' go.
SYDNEY: STORY OF A CITY - Christopher Gordon
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ADU0ZPUO
WMA @128, not my rip. Thanks to whoever.
And a little more Gordon.
MELBOURNE 2006 - THE OPENING CEREMONY
http://sharebee.com/9bff1aab
@128, not my rip. Thanks to SIDDL and Musica Del Septimo Arte.
Stewart Copeland's ORCHESTRALLI in lossless FLAC:
Not a soundtrack but from a musician who has dabbled extensively in the film medium. This DOES contain some of Copeland's film and television music and other tracks that would fit the film score "feeling." This disc was only released in Europe, as far as I can tell. It's quite good.

@ filmpac -- You're the man! Thanks very much. I love these 50s sci-fi scores. Good stuff!
@ ron - Regarding :
"I know that 'The Yearling' is still available but deep in my heart I hope that's someone is willing to share."
Why don't you leave an email address here? I bet someone here would share it with you privately.
Also, I see you have a blog called "soundtrack" where you could post your contact info (even temporarily) so someone can help you out.
Re: "Three Kings" by Carter Burwell, my request. How about saving whoever might share this with me some time?
Just upload the "score tracks" ONLY. I don't need the songs really, it's a Burwell Cd I'm doing anyway. Thanks :)
Hi, Anybody know where I can get
"Fathom" from 1967, John Dankworth composer.
"The Big Bounce" from 1969, Mike Curb composer.
"Gotcha!" from 1985, Bill Conti composer.
I haven't found anyone who knows of a direction to get these titles. THANKS!!

Any help please in a hi end bit rate?
Thanks in advance.
Ennioman
Here's an "Expanded" version without dialogue/effects. Was extremely quiet when I found it (isolated score from DVD, I guess) so boosted by (mostly) 16 dB, by me. Sorry, one short track missing, but still over 70 minutes of score, @192.
Ennio Morricone,
John Carpenter's The Thing (1982)

@ bistis6 - you are too kind, I owe ya a 5 star dinner, no joke!!!! My Gordon's are now complete! I just found the Melbourne last night, probably the same place you saw it *wink*
@ isbum - you know, all these Intrada,FSM people and their limited, club stuff....got me seeing clubs everywhere! I can't recall if you posted it, but thanks for the Virus a few days ago....ya know, that Teo Macero thing! Great find!
@ all - here is Peter Bernstein's MY SCIENCE PROJECT, my rip at 320, naked as the day it was conceived on some LA scoring stage.
http://rapidshare.com/files/126677482/MyPBern.rar
N'joy!
@ sportyv8 - Previously posted about a year and a half ago, on another blog in a galaxy far far away. Still can't find a front cover for it, so if anyone has please post it...
John Dankworth "Fathom" (1967), LP @256:
http://rapidshare.com/files/126680008/JD-Fathom.zip
PS. I've also posted "Gotcha" before, but ze link is kaput. I'll have to hunt it up again, but will post in the next day or so. I think Isbum mentioned having "The Big Bounce", so you're all good to go. Was it you who had a request up for the "Where The Boys Are '84"? Never seen that one, but if it exists I'll second your request. Check out the Golden Age shop for a compilation of Connie Francis songs, in Hollywood.
@ goblinscore - Teo's Virus was me, but Isbum also did a Teo Betrayal, which is most excellent too. But that's ok, we forgive you;)
@ filmpac - Thanks for War of the Worlds and When They Collide! Excellent!
@ Gunshotwound - Thanks for that Nice Night Gallery - brought back spooky memories!
Had a bit of a HD crash this week - still sorting things out, looking forward to making up some new stuff for all in the near future, please bear with me.
Surgical wound is just about closed up now, gonna be headed back to work next week.
Thanks to all of you for you kind thoughts and wishes. Guess What? I think that they worked.
Thanks to All,
Honored General, Peter Ferguson of Hellsing Organiztion
Well I owe ya twice over, 'cos I really like that Virus - then again, Betrayal was a damn fine record too!
@ Honored General - That's fantastic news my friend!!
Power to the people at Franklynot!
Thanks for the "Fathom" link, I look forward to the "Gotcha!" link as well. I've been waiting for "The Big Bounce" too, but guess he's been busy. There is a soundtrack for "Where the boys are '84", but it's been so long since I've seen it, heard it. Lisa Hartman sings the title song, would love to hear the others too. Here's hoping for some day. Thanks again!
@ sportyv8 - I have to be honest, The Big Bounce is possibly one of the cheesiest soundtracks ever. I mainly got it for Rocket's & The Cheese Factory.
I'll get it to you soon. It's aging right now. ;)
Perhaps someone has something dreadful from Mike Curb to tide you over. :))
Isbum, you could be right about it being a cheesy soundtrack. I just got the DVD about a year ago and seeing it took me back to a time years ago when I was a kid and stayed up all night long on the weekends watching late night movies. The Big Bounce was one that stuck in my mind because Leigh Taylor Young was so beautiful, not to mention she cracks up a perfectly good Chrysler Imperial in the movie. Ah well, lost youth. Thanks for the post in advance when you find it. Take care.
@ filmpac -- hey friend, here is the front cover for Fathom. I've tried to duplicate it as close to the original as possible.
Cheers :)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DTQWND69
@ sportyv8 - Now your screen name makes sense to me. A lover of beautiful cars & women. ;)in that order?
You got me with the sentimental angle. I'll get too it soon.

-------------------------------
But in archive both scores?
-Le Choix des Armes & Fort Saganne?
And if only Fort Saganne, maybe you can post "Le Choix des Arme" also...
Thanks!
This just in from Rapidshare:
By eliminating the captchas we simplified the use of RapidShare's free services significantly. In addition, free-users can now upload and download bigger files (up to 200 megabyte). Anyhow, to protect RapidShare from congestion caused by automated downloading, we limited the maximum download speed for free‐users to 500 kilobit per second. To compensate for that, they do not have to wait anymore until starting a succeeding download. **
Premium-users now profit from more flexibility regarding the download volume: It used to be limited to 10 gigabyte per day and can be "saved" now to a maximum of 50 Gigabyte. As a consequence, the volume that was not used is transferred to the following day automatically, up to a maximum of 50 gigabyte. If the complete download capacity is used up during one day, the premium-user is able to save another 10 gigabyte the following day.
** Not quite true. There is a 60-second waiting period before starting a download.
@eda-88 - Yes that's right , but the following comming from our soundtracks club from Jim and me, not a soundtrack club on the Webb or a Blog just a privat one here in the country.
And this title was on request.

"More Rocktastic Music from the Film"
This a score album for the movie Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny.
It was included with the DVD for the movie in
Wal-Mart stores only, the score consists of six orchestral songs written specifically to accompany the film, and two songs by Kyle Gass's band Trainwreck.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/More_Rocktastic_Music_from_the_Film
I'm with Mr. voncheech on the Tenacious D score album request. Somebody grace us with this one please. Cheers.
@gunshotwound
Thank you for the Night Gallery paintings. Man I wish they'd put out the rest of the seasons on DVD. Better yet, I wish someone would put out the episode scores as well.
@voncheech
I was searching around and I found a few Pick of Destiny tracks on composer Andrew Gross' website. Annoyingly, all the tracks aren't there, however there are some that don't seem to be on the CD tracklist. So perhaps if the CD turns up, between the two we can have a more complete album.
Check out the available tracks here:

@ all the american friends here, there and everywhere:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!
@All - Happy 4th of July everybody here in the good ole US of A.
For all of our friends that do not live in the land of freedom, throw yourselves a party just for the fun of it.
Everybody be safe and have a good time.
@quinlan & friends
Thirty-five years ago tomorrow, 4th of July, I was on an afternoon photo walk in an old part of Crumlin, Dublin, Ireland. It was uncommonly warm and as I turned down Cashel Road I spotted a neighborhood pub much in need of my patronage. It was only myself (or “meself”, as they’d say in Ireland) and the pub keeper and a pint of cool Guinness, a dark bog pit of heavenly refreshment.
I hadn’t realized it was the 4th of July until the publican put on the radio behind the bar and we both became immediately entranced by the once familiar tones of John F, Kennedy as they broadcast recordings of clips from some of his more famous speeches.
About halfway through, the bartender poured me another Guinness (on the house) and himself a nice stiff shot of Jamesons. We listened together in the deep afternoon Irish gloom and drank slowly.
Finally, he turned to me, whom he had immediately spotted as an American, and said: “We loved him, ye know.”
Choked up, I could only nod in agreement and barely say: “We did too.”
Fifteen years later, another 4th found me in a small, high, cramped hotel room in Jerusalem with my two children (17 & 13). We stood on the balcony, and somewhere across the city bright explosions lit the hot, humid night air. Not the ugliness of a kill zone, but beautiful fireworks fired off in celebration by the American Embassy.
Maybe we haven’t always been the best neighbors, but we’re trying.
@ ruggo - Post #76. How appropriate!
@ all my American buddies
I wish you a happy and safe Fourth of July!
@ isbum and all:
boynotorious wrote at his blog that he is getting better and he is recovering at a friend's
it will take some months but he will be back as soon as he can
@ eda-88 Jean told about your Philippe Sarde request. I’m usually busy with our two websites but I will do my best to share them as soon as possible.
@ isbum are you still in need of the F@M release: "Twilight of Honor" by Johnny Green?
I any case Jean will post here for me but I will come back from time to time…
A happy Fourth of July for all of you!
@ jim - I did get Twilight of Honor, but the final track cut's out a second or two before it ends.
Track 24 Love Theme from Twilight of Honor (Bonus Track)
Time says 3:07 on the file.
Do you suppose I could get a replacement track from you?
@ isbum - Yes I can send you the last track by e-mail and at 320 kbs (mp3), if you want. Do you need the cover as well?
Intrada's Scorpio release got sold out in only 6 hours. What I want to know is who is buying all these CDs?
@ Jim - That's the 1,500 dollar question. Speculators, it seems.
Yes, I would like the track as you specified and a nice scan of the cover would be welcome too.
address: zippyljs@yahoo.com
@ isbum - Speculators - That's now the reason I'm posting here...
I will send you both as soon as I can :-)
@ jim - Now that I look, the cover scans I have are good. You don't have to send them. Also gave me the opportunity to listen to Juke Jezebel again, love having two versions of that track.
It's like some piece off Mancini's Touch of Evil escaped. :)
@ Jim,
Thanks for your shares!!
Big thanks to Segroeg for almost all my requests of Sarde, now i'm just need only: (take time only when you can), thanks..

@Parzival - Thank you for your link to your "Guilty Pleasures" zone. I checked it out and found AND THE BAND PLAYED ON which I have been looking for for a while. I tried leaving you a comment there but it wouldn't accept my username. That's OK. I'll thank you here.

@ isbum - I did send you the "Twilight of Honor" track, please let me know if you did receive it.
About 100 years ago I posted the complete promo edition of THE KILLER ELITE on YDHTVTB. I have no idea if the link is still active nor do I want to slog through the hundreds of posts to find it. I'll re-rip and post it this evening.
THE KILLER ELITE - Jerry Fielding
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4ZBQET6O
27 tracks, my rip @320, with some hastily thrown together artwork.
I found another link to Goldsmith's CASSANDRA'S CROSSING if anyone's interested. The version posted last month was much appreciated but I couldn't help but notice that it suffers from distracting noise.
This one was posted at scoresofscores blog. Ignore that it says Swordfish. They got the links mixed up. It is Cassandra's Crossing.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NIW02VCT
@ bistis6 - Wonder how I missed out on it at Nomwl1's?
The Intr@da only has 10 tracks. Where did you get this version?
Or is it a closely guarded family secret? ;)
@ isbum
THE KILLER ELITE, along with the complete OUTLAW JOSEY WALES,was among the promotional releases authorized by Fielding's estate in the early to mid-90s, about the same time as the Bay Cities Fielding releases. I also posted OJW at YDHTVTB.
@ bistis6 - Wonderful then! As many of us remember, Nomwl1's place set the standard for "crazy sharing"!
Fond memories indeed!
@ Jim - I'm emailing you, but want to make sure you know how much I appreciated your help with "Twilight". Now I can burn a copy for my home collection. Thanks!
Someone requested Jerry Goldsmith's

@ Isbum
Happy belated 4th of July to you and your US friends.
As I was just reading down and catching up on the news, I thought what a good chance to rip the complete Killer Elite CD, I actually thought I had already ripped it and posted it here??
But these 2 releases inc Josey Wales, were simply superb, as bistis said.
The covers were a complete mess though and suffered for their ltd release, I know I did make up a set of covers for the killer elite and Josey Wales, restoring the original album cover for the later..
I will try and dig them out and paste covers here.

Thanks, E-man. I've replied now.
Hi, anyone there have Goldsmith's "List of Adrian Messenger"or does this not exist in any form? Thanks in advance.
@ donovan's brain
Seems as though the CASSANDRA CROSSING discs are subject to bronzing. Did I post last month's? I can't remember. Seems to me that I had a hard time even ripping it into my hard drive once.

Hello to all of you, I've just discovered this blog (a new hope of finding more film scores :P), I don't know if this is the right place to make requests, but if it is, does any of you would know where to find the score from Ripoux contre Ripoux by Francis Lai?
Thanks
I am curious if someone could share following soundtracks

Hollow Man
Batman Animated Series
X-Men Animated Series
@ isbum - I hope you like the interview. And many thanks for "They Shoot Horses...Don't They".

Go to Benuit's blog http://benuits-itsonlyapapermoon.blogspot.com/ and scroll down for BATMAN:TAS. He had also posted couple of other episodes from the series but they've been removed. Benuit, what happened there? If need by, I can re-upload them unless there was some problem with them being shared.

EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS expanded, 22tracks - John Ottman
I'm fairly certain the original source was 320.

@ sportyv8 - I met Mike Curb back in the mid-80's and started rattling off all the soundtracks he did that I grew up listening to to, and after nodding along with it all, he said
"You remember more about my career than I do."
Forgive my comments regarding this soundtrack, it was due to a bad week.
I like Curb and after looking over a few sites devoted to his career, think he's not only talented and a savvy businessman, but very likely one of the nicest guys in the record industry.
This ball's in your court now, enjoy it my friend!

@bistis: thanks for this one, i'll try it soon.
@Img - thanks for Tuck Everlasting! That music is absolutely gorgeous and the film is sadly forgotten already.
@Goblinscore - thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!! My Science Project has a totally different score for the type of movie it is. If you've never seen the film and only heard the score you would expect something TOTALLY different..lol. Thank you so much for this rarity:)
@Jean - Thank you for "The Cardinal" and album coverart for "Commander in Chief" promos. "The Cardinal" is in my netflix queue and I am looking forward to seeing it. I usually like Preminger's pictures, and this one looks good. Thanks so much.
@Isbum - I had no clue there was an album for All the President's Men! Thank you very much!!!! The music in that film is completely haunting.....like, scary at times. It's more of a subtle scary, though...creepy might be a better word. It suited the film perfectly, though. And now I can listen to it whenever I choose:) Thank you very much!!
@ all - I have just a few requests this time (some are repeats...I know, but if I have learned anything from you all here, it is that I should never give up hope...lol).
Does anyone have coverart for "My Science Project"? Goblinscore posted the extremely rare score, but I wasn't sure if anyone had a coverart for it?
The title song for "The Parent Trap II" called Let's Keep What We've Got (And Let's Not Let It Go) sung by Marylin McCoo.
Julie Budd's songs from "The Devil and Max Devlin" along with any score by Marvin Hamlisch
The Watcher in the Woods - Stanley Myers (I don't know if this was ever available)
Tex - Pino Donaggio (Also, I don't know if an album was ever released for this)
Outrageous Fortune - Alan Silvestri
As always, thanks so much for your help and support everyone. If you can't post the album here, then perhaps any info as to availability or how to go about obtaining a copy.....anything would be highly appreciated! Thanks again:)
@ Jim - Here the link for Elliot Goldenthal " Alien 3" @ 48000 Khz 320. It take more times to upload them but the sound are much better.

I said a few days back that I had a set of cover scans for Fielding's The Killer Elite, I had forgot that I also added the original trailer to the end of my CD just to round it off, therefore the track listing would be wrong, as would the total time, so I have only uploaded my original front cover, should anyone want it as an additional front.

Warm Regards,

www.andrewgross.net
maybe there is still hope for a bootleg...
Ok, I'm going to ask for the impossible. I'm looking for music from some Neil Simon movies. I don't think any of his original movies had soundtracks except maybe for the Odd Couple. I'm looking for specific scores from the following movies:
The Prisoner of Second Avenue -1974-specifically the opening theme -- music by Marvin Hamlisch.
The Out of Towners -1970 version--music by Quincy Jones.
The Goodbye Girl - 1977 version--music scored and adapted by Dave Grusin. I already have the theme song by David Gates.
Only When I Laugh - 1981 - music by David Shire.
Murder by Death - 1976 - music by Dave Grusin.
And the last one is not a Neil Simon movie. "Murphey's Romance" -1985. I know Carole King sings a couple of the songs for the movie, but they are not on any of her released albums anywhere. I'm looking for the opening them song sung by Carole King called "Running Lonely".
Okay, now that I've asked for something that probably does not exist, everyone please feel free to start laughing now. Hey, I thought I'd try. Thanks to anyone who may be able to help.
@lmg - if you have the song fanmade bootie - got it :) I'm hoping to find what little of Thomas Newman's score there is. Would be great to round up that, Reckless, Revenge Of The Nerds, Naked Tango....
@filmpac - if you mean that Discocross/Giorgio Farina thing, I can put it up. It was on another blog over a year ago, and I grabbed it. Not sure if the artwork is still around, but if you need it I'll dig it up :)

hey pal. remember that dvd audio extractor program you shared with us all late last month? i had a question about that. do you know if it's possible to use it with mono tracks too or just dvd's with 5.1 tracks? i have alot of dvds that i wanna rip but alot of them only have mono tracks. but i do have a bunch in 5.1 or 2.0 surround too. please let me know pal. thanks in advance.
@ longislandripper
DVD Audio Extractor will rip any channel you like into WAVs, but if you're looking solely to isolate music then that works best with the rear channels. The amount of FX you'll retain depends on the sound mix.
FYI there's an option, usually selected by default, to save each CHAPTER as a separate file. This makes editing a complete bitch, as music will sometimes continue over two or three chapters . I uncheck it. This saves entire CHANNEL as one continuous WAV equaling the length of the film from which you can select the necessary portions. For mixing, the rear channels are usually displayed as 5for the left channel and 6 for the right channel.
What I then do is open an audio mixing program. BEAR IN MIND THAT EACH CHANNEL WILL BE RIPPED AS A MONO FILE!!! I import the Left Channel 5 and mute its right channel, then I import Right Channel 6 and mute its left channel. Voila!...stereo!!!
Hope this helps.

@ bistis6 - Thanks too for the new rips @320, had just about all of them but it's super to bag some upgrades:)
Your mission, should you agree to accept it is to find a special track or any related album for Ruggo. This message will NOT self destruct...yet.
Watched an interesting B-flick today, "Little Chenier a Cajun Story." Most (if not all) of the music was a compiltion from various artists. But one cue struck me with its incredible beauty. The Credits list it as:
"La Grace Du Ciel" by
Eleisha Eagle, Michele Taylor & Alexandra Eagle.
Basically it was a variation on "Amazing Grace."
If anyone is familiar with this particular version or with the group, I'd like to know.
Thanks in advance
@ Filmpac
Most welcome
@Bistis6
The Isolated Jerry Goldsmith score for The Omen has been available for quite a number of years now and in beautiful stereo, I remember I had it on the NTSC Laserdisc from Fox. It has been posted here before, of that I'm pretty sure, maybe someone else would be able to point you to it. I know I have it on CD somewhere as I combined it all at some point, but just a little too busy at this time to sort it, but it is out and about.
HEADS UP for F S M western box fans once again...

I just found your July 6 question re the Excel Link List.
I don't know what to tell you.
I just downloaded it and it opened perfectly. I prepared it and uploaded it exactly the same way as usual.
In the meantime, did you manage to get it?
Are you saying that you're able to download a file which you can't then open or can't you download anything at all from the link?
Let me know if you still have a problem and I'll try to help you as much as I can.
Cheers

Strikes me that I have been remiss in not posting this when I posted the other Leith Stevens' sci-fi scores from the 50s...

@quinlan - Re: Excel Spread Sheet.
There must have been some kind of temporary problem on my side. I tried the next day and everything was OK.
When I said the spread sheet would not open I meant that when I clicked to open the spread sheet all I got was the spread sheet window grayed out. My computor kept saying my Microsoft Word program was not compatable with the spread sheet and to check for updates or install the latest version of Word. I use version 97 with all updates and it had never failed to open any kind of document before. I didn't know what was wrong. I had tried both June sheets you created and neither would open. Plus I had already deleted the May sheet.
But everything is OK now.
@bistis6
thanks for the reply on the question i had for that program. but to clarify and to make sure, i can't use DVD Audio Extractor to make a custom isolated score rip off a mono track DVD? The one I have in mind only has one track on DVD and it's in mono :(. i can't seem to figure out how to make the channels separate to make a custom score rip. i guess that's cause it's in mono right? Let me know friend. Also for audio mixing when i try to do the trick to make it stereo after ripping is the program "WavePad" good for that? let me know if it isn't and what you suggest instead pal. Thanks in advance :D
@isbum
i haven't forgotten about ya buddy. If you check out Hellfire you'll see I wrote on my Cbox that i plan to post lots more RevCo records soon. When I do I'll dedicate it to you pal :).
@ long island ripper
Yeah, if the DVD is mono youre gonna get a single channel, sorry.
I don't anything about Wavepad, but any sound editing program should give you the option to mute either channel.
