Someone has ANGEL soundtrack (by PHILIPE ROMBI)? It is very hard to find and the movie has been screened poorly.
Someone can upload this at 320k?
THANKS¡
@gsw:
It brings me great sadness to hear what has happened to your friend's father; if anything, however, he is now in a much better place than in this cruel world.
My deepest condolences go out to your friend and his family.

Hey Gang! I was wondering if anybody would happen to have Tangerine Dream's 'Thief' (the 15-track imported version, not the standard 8-track release) in a decent bit rate, preferably in 320? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I also wanted to extend my condolences to those that have been dealing with loss in the past few weeks on here. I will keep you all in my prayers.
@ Alex - As you requested, Philippe Rombi's score to "Angel" @320. This is a truly beautiful score and I can easily understand why you want a copy. I received my copy from my good friend Daniel in Germany, unfortunately I didn't save the artwork scans, therefore what you have here is front & back artwork (@400 dpi) that's only fair to good. It's my rip.
Enjoy the score!

@GilinAZ
V: The Original Miniseries is composed by Joe Harnell.
The Final Battle is mostly music by Dennis McCarthy but the main theme was composed by Barry deVorzon and Joseph Conlan
The Lizard Trilogy features a selection of tracks from the original MiniSeries(Harnell), The Final Battle(McCarthy) and the TV Series(McCarthy). It includes deVorzon's The Final Battle theme in stereo unlike the standalone release. Hope that clears things up.
I'm looking for a rip from :The file of the golden goose by Harry Robinson

My request for SNS:
Big Wednesday (F S M) - Basil Poledours
I have a copy and it's only 128k, but i would like to get an upgrade
I found one link somewhere of Big Wednesday with a higher bitrate, but the sound was worse than this 128k i have (a transcode maybe?).
I've seen covers for this edition in the artwork department, so if it's possible to someone that have the original CD and could rip, would be great.
If not, I'll stay with the copy i have for now.
Sorry about that!

Heya people,
Not sure if someone's done this already but just in case they haven't I figured I'd try it out and see if someone runs with it. Yesterday, I picked up myself a present: the 3-disc special edition DVD of the Coen Brothers film No Country For Old Men. You know how there's been no score release for that, since there's so very little music and much of it is blended in with sound effects? I've gone through the DVD and taken notation of (noticeable) moments when pieces of music or some of my favorite dialogue appears. Just something to see how much music there really is...
NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN: Score by Carter Burwell and Dialogue Track Listing
Beginning - 2.53: Dialogue/Tommy Lee Jones: "Part Of This World"
(includes score - 2:00 - 2:53)
15:20 - 16.12: Dialogue/Josh Brolin & Kelly McDonald: "Something Dumber Than Hell"
18.15 - 19.20: Desert Chase
21.00 - 25.15: Dialogue/Javier Bardem & Gene Jones: "Friend-O"
(includes score - 23.40 - 24.53)
26.17 - 26.27: Riding Bitch
31.30 - 31.40: Dialogue/Garret Dillahunt & Tommy Lee Jones: "It's A Mess"
36.40 - 36.50: Dialogue/Garret Dillahunt & Tommy Lee Jones: "Impressions"
40.30 - 41.59: A Jackpot/As The Crow Flies
(includes Dialogue/Josh Brolin & Jason Douglas)
43.15: Dialogue/Josh Brolin & Matthew Posey: "Tents and Poles"
59.00 - 59.30: Hotel
1.08.22 - 1.09.10: Mariachis Interruptus
1.35.52 - 1.36.50: The Desert Sands Hotel
1.39.05 - 1.40.55: Return to the Deserts Sands
1.55.00 - 2.01.58: Dialogue/Tommy Lee Jones: The Dream and End Credits Theme
Supporting actor namews above compiled from imdb.com. Times are approximate, going by the counter on the new special edition DVD of the film. Of course, the whole this is very subjective. Someone putting their own compilation together could extract what they think the best dialogue scenes are. (There's a lot of great writing in this film.) :)
@NanM
Thanks for SATAN BUG.
Happy Easter!

These would be LP rips.
Thanks very much in advance!
Just a little something. Someone kindly uploaded the double album of Nic Raine's adaptations of the Bond themes a short while ago. To add to it, here's his version of 'You Know My Name' from Casino Royale (instrumental). At 320. It's quite good. Happy Easter all!

@ Wild & Everyone Else:
LISTEN UP, Wild, and EVERYONE!
At least one person's reaction, on account of me beginning a post with capital letters, could only be something good... and it sure is.
I just received a new, exclusive, digitally remastered CD soundtrack to "Jake Speed" from BSX records (buysoundtrax.com) - with music by Mr. Mark Snow of course
Give me a few minutes, and I will have it up here.
There is more good news, but with some bad news, however...
Good news: My copy came to me with Mark Snow's GLORIOUS autograph!
Bad news: Due to the lack of a scanner, I am unable to show you all his autograph, nor the exclusive in-depth linear notes, and the other miscellaneous artwork there, even though it is a wee 2-page booklet.
Stay tuned for confirmation.
(Especially you, Wild.)

Does anyone have Super Capers score by Nathan Lanier?
@ isbum
Hey I needed just one of the UNCLE's to complete my collection. I still intend to buy it, but it's great to have that hole plugged on my shelf till I make the purchase. Thanks so much for putting them all up.
Happy Easter to any and all who celebrate it. Everyone else, have a beautiful spring day. Unless you're down south of the Equator, then happy autumn day or whatever. Have I covered my bases? Hope so. he he he
What a wonderful evening. I just met Richard Rodney Bennett at the Metropolitan Room in NY. He was there to see jazz pianist Patti Wicks who is a good friend of his. I work at the Met Room and had spoken with Patti earlier in the week and we shared a common bond of love for film scores. Richard came to see her show tonight and I took the opportunity to introduce myself and we chatted about MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, EQUUS, GHORMENGAST and film scores in general. A lovely man, and a great evening of music.
@ bistis6 - The link! The Link!
Yay! ;)
We were just talking about Bennett's "Return of the Soldier".

Can someone help?
Thanks in advance.
Hi all...Don't think an OST for "FELON" (2008)
exists, but if you go to the composer's site the score starts playing. Great stuff if you haven't heard...
http://www.gerharddaum.com/
If anyone has the OST or can rip it, PLEASE post...
Thanks alot! Happy Easter!
@ 3-Pin - Thank you very much to enjoy the war Compilation, I like to made such things like this, it is another way to hear or to have the music not easy to find out.
A few month ago I made also an Musical Anthology about the Star Trek Movies but only the one from Jerry Goldsmith, I made This Suite With Material From Bootleg and Of Course Some Other Material.
I really Enjoy This Suite Re-mixed Like an Symphonic Music Coming From Outer Space, It's Incredible to hear This 1hours and 4 Minutes without any Interruption. I love it. This is my favourite Suite and I listen this one many time in the week. I'm never tired to hear this music.
I don't follow the Chronology of the Films, just Re-mixed to have a good musical suite. This one have no Tracks , No need to have them.
If some of you want to hear the suite. Here the link.

Make It So!
Hello all.
Wondering if a score exists for Year Of The Dragon (1985), the Mickey Rourke Chinatown thriller. Had some weird mix of score and source, so don't know...
Also... wondering if the 2 disc They Live has popped up? Already have and love the 2 disc Big Trouble In Little China.
Happy Easter!
@ John Hartigan:
Thanks a lot for the "special people" ;-)
@ MS Boricua:
Thank you very much for Tudors 2.
Those two are hardly released.
@ Southview212:
Weren't my requests, but every Kent is welcome.
Thanks for them!
@ sorei:
Jean uploaded a 320 kbps version of Dave earlier.
Thanks, anyway!
Still hoping for a lossless version ;)
@ Jean:
There can be no talk of a delay.
Thanks a million for the 13th Warrior in lossless quality!!!
You made my easter weekend!!!
Regarding Dave...no idea where the CD could be?
You could combine the search with your spring cleaning, or is it already done? ;)
Seems that you are my last hope!
Would be fabulous, maybe a second hunt brings a success ;)
@ all:
HAPPY EASTER!!!
@ Dom1
Hello, and Happy Easter to you, too!
Does anybody have Maurice Jarre's "Magician of Lublin?"
To all...decided to share some commercially released compilations. These aren't seen or heard too often (at least I haven't seen these CD's around in a while). All are at 320.
The first CD is titled "Star Wars: The Sound Of Hollywood", John Mauceri conducting the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra
http://rapidshare.com/files/220479142/StarWars-TheSoundOfHollywood_Mauceri_compilation.rar
The second compilation is titled "Film Theme Classics", with Carl Davis conducting the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
http://rapidshare.com/files/220499234/FilmThemeClassics_C.Davis_compilation.rar
The final compilation is a real classic from 1989. It's part of the Cinema Gala series. The tracks on this CD were compiled from the old Phase 4 LP's. The sound quality of the CD is outstanding.
This CD is titled "Cinema Gala: The Epic", conducted by Stanley Black with the London Festival Orchestra.

Complete artwork is at the Artwork Dept.
>Does anybody have Maurice Jarre's "Magician of Lublin?"
Dream on, James, you're winning...
:)
I want to say thanks to Bistis, who uploaded Big Wednesday.
Happy Easter all.
@ Jean:
Can't download The 13th Warrior in FLAC, because the file is too big. Only premium account users can download it from RS.
Could you be so kind and upload it on megaupload, etc.?
Or split the file in two parts?
Thanks in advance!
@ Tlkjwe - Sorry I did know about file to big on the rapidshare, I have starting the upload on Megaupload . I don't know a much time it will take But beleive me you will get them.
Don't know if this request belongs here, but I'm wondering if someone would be willing to share the following by Carl Davis:
Napoleon

Phantom of the Opera
Intolerance (there is a copy currently to be had on rapidshare but it's of poor sound quality)

I DO have Maurice Jarre's THE MAGICIAN OF LUBLIN. However, it's on an audio cassette. I'd have to have someone transfer it to digital before it could be shared.
I think it's in mono, but it sounds great.
James - who doesn't have to dream.
James, if you could get Jarre's "The Magician of Lublin" transferred that would be absolutely marvelous! By all accounts this sounds like a Jarre score I'll adore and I'm enamored it's not lost.
@ southview
Thanks for the trio of great compilations!

@All - These are a bit different from most other posts but yet related. All are my scans.
Long ago, in a vinyl world far, far away, record companies would occasionally release what was known as a deluxe edition of some high profile titles. Ben-Hur and Mutiny on the Bounty were two of these titles. What made it deluxe was the inclusion of a souvenir book from the movie. Patrons could also buy these books at theaters showing the movie.
Ben-Hur (600dpi@100%-57 scans/352mb)
Ben-Hur Book Part 1
Ben-Hur Book Part 2
The sourvenir book for Ben-Hur came in hardback & paperback editions. The hardback edition was included in the deluxe edition LP and is the one offered here. There were a few differences between the two books such as different photos on some pages and these differences have been included and tagged as alternate pages. Also included is a series of promo paintings by artist Ben Stahl which are arranged as a foldout.
Mutiny on the Bounty (600dpi@100%-48 scans/253mb)
Mutiny on the Bounty Book Part 1
Mutiny on the Bounty Book Part 2
Included is a beautiful painting of the H.M.S. Bounty by Morgan Henninger.
El Cid (600pdi@100%-47 scans/282mb)
El Cid Book Part 1
El Cid Book Part 2
As far as I know a deluxe edition of El Cid was never released, but I had the souvenir book and decided to post it also.
A big thank you goes out to Jim Quackenbush who spent a lot of time and work helping me get these ready for posting.
I hope you all enjoy them.
@ gururoo & Jean - Clean copy of Intolerance @320, uploading now. Will post when completed.
@ gsw
Thank you for the books! Awesome things to share. I had the Ben Hur already, but love that I can look at the others.

And now, they have a shop created for them where Compilations can be celebrated.

Please give them a warm welcome and congratulations on the opening of their shop!

Does anyone have any music from The Witches, by Stanley Myers (1990)? It's a great score, but it's never been officially released.
@Bond1965
Really impressive !!! You're a winner !
I did not think that anyone had that gem.
Upload in any quality would be apreciated.
@Jean,
Thanks man. You are great.
Ron
Spitting through the beautiful artwork department makes me real sad.
Why didn't I see a link for 'Wilson' from Alfred Newman.
If anyone has a link, please.
Thanks, Ron
@ Southview212 - Many Thanks for the Intolerance ( Silent film ) by Carl Davis, I appreciate very much your help this is very friendly , But I have the Original CD from Prometheus Label. I did not understand very well the comment abouy it? I share this one in Flac sometime and don't have any problem. This disturbing me because I always need to understand what's wrong. ;)
@ Ron - We would appreciate it if you didn't spit in The Artwork Department. :)
Filmpac's sweat is all the moisture the artwork can handle. ;)
I'm betting Southview212 or Jean can help you with the "Wilson" covers.
If they don't show up, you can leave a request for them at The Artwork Department.
Hey all
Does anyone have Stanley Myers' score to "Otley" (1969)? A very underrated score if I remember correctly.
Also, does anyone have the prologue from Beauty and the Beast WITHOUT the narration? Thanks.
@Isbum,
I am very sorry. It seems I have made a mess of it. The meaning of spitting (spitten) is searching in the Dutch language. My mistake!
And I have find the covers in The Artwork department. It's that wonderful music, the soundtrack, I like to have.
Thanks and again sorry, Ron
@ Steve - I have "Otley". If nobody beats me, I'll post it for you.
@ Ron - I kind of thought it might be a language thing. I take it with a smile and nothing more.
So, to be clear, you want the music to "Wilson" 1944 by Alfred Newman, right?
@Corey - You can find The Witches here, courtesy of Mr. Remember.

@ Isbum
Re: Otley, thanks for that, if I recall, it even has Pete Murray doing a bit of faux-radio chat on it as well. Also, and I'll be able to shed some more light on it when I hear it, Jarvis Cocker used the intro to one the tracks on a single he brought out (Trees? I think it was that one)

Thank you for making a space available out on that great mall of yours for Jean & Ruggo's House of Fine Compilations.
My Belgian friend, Jean, should be held most responsible for the sparkling gems on the shelves of our shop as without him at least all my stuff would be lacking its magnificent artwork.
Please don't think of our (and your) compilations as if they were Reader's Digest Condensed Books, but rather individual creations where the accumulation and juxtaposition of music is a seperate work of art for your listening pleasure and appreciation.
Again, thank you for your hospitality...you are more than a landlord. You are a good friend.
Hi all you knowledgable people.
Can someone recommend a clean, simple, free programme for converting RAR audio files to either WMA or AVI ????????
Would appreciate any suggestions.
@ ISBUM
"Hi there me old hearty".
Been havin' trouble with the old telescope & missed the damned Swashbuckler. Guess it's swabbin' down the decks for me......
Cheers & thanks Captain.
Does anyone happen to have the original Lawrence of Arabia score? Most versions I find are the 13 track re-recording. I'm wondering if the old LP version(s) contained actual film music?
@Isbum,
Yes my friend, you are right.
If anyone has a link to THE MUSIC of Alfred Newman's 'Wilson' that would be fantastic.
Thanks again, Ron

@ seasy again - Odd question. You can't convert a RAR file to anything else, it's merely a zip file that can contain one or more other files. Un-RAR the file as you would a zip file. If you then want to convert the contents (such as mp3 files), you'll need another program to do the job, such as dbPowerAmp. Plenty of other choices too.
@ ron - Dutch is such a funny language hehe. Slaap lekker :)
@ steve & isbum - Covers for Otley now available at the Artwork Department. No spitting required, it's the top post ;)
