@ isbum
Reur post (several links) of September 25 "Thriller" with "Richard Diamond" by Pete Rugolo.
I guess "Thriller" is the TV serie but I couldn't trace anything called Richard Diamond by the same composer.
I found "Richard Diamond, Private Detective" with David Jansen, music supervisor, Frank DeVol and Richard Shores, composer.
Could you please clear my mind.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Isbum said...

@ quinlan - According to the Cd they are both credited to Pete Rugolo.
Hope that helps my friend.:)

@ All
Speaking of help, our friend Score Baby is in search of some images for his book.
NOTE: If you believe you can help him, please email me at

zippyljs@yahoo.com

Here is what Score Baby said:

I'm collecting images for my soundtrack book and I've obtained
permission from Silva to reproduce their cover art, but I don't possess
all of the titles that I need. I'm wondering if you have any of these
and if you can provide scans. If so, I need them at 300 dpi, 100%, b&w
is fine.

Game of Death/Night Games
Space 1999
The Prisoner
The Wicker Man

I also need Intrada's cover for Capricorn One.

isbum says: thanks in advance for any help you may offer.

@ ennioman - I get the same message on the megaupload link, scroll down and you will see it's over 500Mb in size. Sheesh!

@ quinlan - Yes, Pete Rugulo is the composer of both "Richard Diamond" and "Thriller".

@ rocket - Awesome, thanks mate for Bull Durham. I've got the Fogerty track, so all covered. Cheers!

Something a little different from me today. Australian films don't get too much airplay overseas, but we did some pretty darn good ones. Includes music from "Picnic At Hanging Rock", "Breaker Morant", "Gallipoli" and others, this is a a great sampler covering films from the 1970s and early 1980s...

INFORMATION PLEASE

Meant to ask, does anybody know if there is a score available (official or unofficial) from the film Layer Cake, I do like this movie, also enjoyed the various songs featured in the film..

TIA
Ennioman

Isbum said...

@ ennioman - I can grab Layer today for you. It's been floating in the discount section of Amoeba for a while now.

filmpac said...

@ ennioman - Better still, save Isbum some bucks, I can download it for you today and re-up.

Clint's archive said...

@ Isbum

Bud, please, I wouldn't want you to pay money for the disc!

I'd feel terrible mate!

Forget I asked please mate...

I just wasn't actually sure if an underscore of any kind existed.
Not sure if you have seen the movie but it has a very ambient score.

Isbum said...

@ filmpac - Thanks bro! Now what am I gonna spend all my money on? ;)

Clint's archive said...

Phew!

Thank god for filmpac..

I wouldn't be able to sleep if Isbum had paid the bucks!

@ enniopac - Knock it off boys!
You have both given me so much great music that I have no qualms over ticklin' a few bucks out to give you something in return.

Besides, my electronic ankle bracelet only allows me to go between home and the record store!

Anyone hear from maimone digital?

BLOB ALERT!!

Just discovered today. I have no idea of the source, but I am guessing this might even be recording sessions (there is just a hint of a cue the orchestra voice, presumably by the composer or conductor). It is free of sound effects and dialogue, but we'll just call it a bootleg for now until futher confirmation. 26 tracks, 37 minutes of...

@ all
Since this evening (approximately midnight western european time) I no longer can access the "Green Eyed Lady" blog which was one of my favorite (greeneyedladymusic.blogspot.com/).
Am I the only one?
I am under the impression that this blog must have suffered some external attacks. Recently I experienced several problems concerning new download links which could not be accessed and I had notified the blogger...
Hope it's only temporary!

filmpac said...

@ isbum - Only good quality covers on Score Baby's list I could dig up were for Capricorn One, uploaded here for you. Please pass on my "all the best" for his book!

@ quinlan - Green Eyed Lady is down for me too, 404 Page Not Found error. Not a good sign friend.

Maimone Digital said...

@Isbum

Maimone Digital is still around. Just been working a lot this summer.

Isbum said...

@ maimone - Thanks for the heads up.
I try to keep track of all of you great friends and nice people who have made this a home.

I hope you'll be able to spend more time here when you get back to terra firma. ;)

Just me and you here today, Isbum?

Thanks for Lady Sings The Blues matey, is that a new rip or another one I missed before? And The Galt MacDermot looks interesting, I've got a best of somewhere would make a nice match.

@ quinlan
Regrettably from my side too, "Page Not Found" for Green Eyed Lady.

btw, I'm afraid that Parzival has missed your request for "Medal Of Honor".

From the "Frontline" on, all of his "MoH" uploads do not require a pass.

Isbum said...

@ filmpac - "the BLOB" is a wowZer!
How the heck did this slip out??

Oh, duh! It's the BLOB! ;)

Isbum said...

@ filmpac - Stayin up late I am, and I get to feeling like Chuck Heston in The Omega Man. Guess that makes you Anthony Zerbe! ;)

As to "Lady" I had thought about getting the double Lp and ripping it, but tonight ran across it on Cd.

I didn't mention that the MacDermot has one track from "Fortune in Mens Eyes" on it. It's got some goodies on it. Also, it was a sealed Lp copy. No pops..OH Joy!

Anonymous said...

@ Isbum

I've been feeling like Chuck Heston in "Planet of the Apes" for years now...;)

@ Quinlan

Sorry, I musta scrolled over your further-info request for MoH, but di(aphanous is absolutely right (thanks a lot for helping my out by the way): There's NO password required for any of the scores from MoH:Frontline on! :)

@ osi1

I got some of the Young-scores you requested and will up "Pranks" and "Haunted Summer" later today...

A true feast for lovers of tremoli and glissandi-effects with some nice "Planet of the Apes"-rip-offs in track 5 & 17 (who'd ever complain about that?) make a perfect gem for the devoted Young-collector.
Here goes then:

Christopher Young - Pranks (aka The Dorm That Dripped Blood), 1982

Enjoy this chilling score!

BTW, I have more of osi1's requests, but most are VS and even if OOP I wonder if I should better refrain from posting them here?

@ thedoctor
Reur post of September 27 "You Are What You Eat".
There are two films with this title: a concert film (1968), music score by Al Jolson with several pop stars of that time (Frank Zappa, David Crosby, Peter Yarrow, etc...) and a documentary concerning lifestyle and nutrition, music score by Chris Cawte.
Which one is it?

3410 said...

@ Italianjob,

No problem. Just beginning to worry you'd forgtten us. ;)

italianjob said...

PS!

Just checked my "4 Westerns by Fidenco" file and found I only have per il gusto di uccidere. I'm missing All'Ombra Di Una Colt, Dynamite Jim and Ringo Il Texican. Anyone got these?
