Hey, thanks for your help guys. But, I'm looking for the SCORE to "What Happens in Vegas.." And, apparently, there is an expanded promo for "Pushing Dasie's."
here it is...drumroll please.../\ /\ /\ /\/\ /\ <> ! ! !
(MY GOD! I THINK I JUST INVENTED A NEW GRAPHIC!!! GET IT!? DRUMSTICKS etc. etc.etc. AND THEN THE CYMBAL CRASH! Dang! Not bad for an old man. Has anyone seen this before? More importantly---Does anyone know how I can register this and make big bucks from it?)
In the meantime---until my ship comes in...
PETE KELLY'S BLUES - TV Soundtrack (Various Artists) (in glorious monophonic sound @ 360) http://sharebee.com/94685d54
Later folks,

ps---I was only kidding before---unless, anyone does know...
pps---IF any of you blog-o-land cretins try and steal that graphic without giving credit where credit is due---you WILL be hearing from my lawyers: Dewey, Cheatem & Howe LLC!
In 1961 I paid 25 cents admission to sit in the small chow hall of an isolated radar site of the Air Defense Command near the Canadian border: our weekly movie, shipped up to the site on a couple of large 16mm reels, a relatively new copy of “Psycho.”
When screeching violins finally drowned out the clackety-clack of the projector and Martin Balsam tumbled down the stairs in one of Hitchcock’s signature camera tricks, all I could think about was the blood-curdling sound of Bernard Herrmann’s fantastic music. The cry of a banshee, a scream as horrendous as the act of the murder itself. I was hooked for life.
As much as we might all be familiar with many of Herrmann’s soundtracks, I thought it would be interesting to rethink the music in terms of possible concert/listening potential as opposed to atmospheric background for the action on the screen where sometimes a lot of noodling works like musical mortar between the bricks of more substantial cues.
On this basis, I have constructed suites from each film using as many sources as I could find.
Although this is the complete track list, I will try to post the segments one or two at a time over a period of a few days to aid in downloading.

@ isbum - Three or four days ago the miserably hurt loco.motive had sent you an e-mail. It would delight me to finally see here this [or that] single-word-answer of yours - costs not much sweating, pal! ;-)
There are no more clouds to be seen in the horizon. Neither for you, I hope...
I've been looking for Mark Griskey's score for STAR WARS, THE FORCE UNLEASHED (videogame) since I read this review : http://www.tracksounds.com/reviews/the_force_unleashed_mark_griskey.htm
@ rocket from mars Thanks a million, bud, for your post of Pete Kelly's Blues. I must humbly admit that I was ignoring that there had been some TV Series with this character. So it has the flavor of something new to me. A Great Discovery!!!
If anyone else is familiar with this group, I would like to request their soundtrack to "Parabellum" released in 1999. The following description is just too crazy not to catch my attention: "and the James-Bond-as-a-psycho-bitch-from-hell action thriller Parabellum" say what?? :))
just wanted to let you all know that my latest little soundtrack project is done. It's for the 80's skateboarding flick "Thrashin' ":

Hiho, a really good and interesting blog. many rare film score gems to be found here. I am look for the promo score of IRON THUNDER by Christopher Farrell. Hope someone has this score and can post it here. Greetings and keep well.

From an amazing series of novels, comes a BBC production that I would have considered unfilmable. I first read the Mervyn Peake novels as a teenager, and cannot recommend them highly enough. They are dense and not an easy read, but rank with Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings as an extraordinary literary work of fantasy. Come join Steerpike, Titus Groan, Swelter & Flay in the amazing decaying world of...
Hi Isubum and all...it's been a year or so since I'd visited, so doubt anyone would remember me, not that I had a huge profile to begin with. It's Great to see this blog is still up and running! Many issues kept me away from the blog world, and I was sad to see YouDontHaveToVistThisBlog never ever recovered from the horrible things that happened. So, it's good to see fellowship among score lovers, and I hope I can visit more often and contribute as in the past!
I have Grisky's score to THE FORCE UNLEASHED, will wait until closer to release date of the game before unleashing the score. It's a spectacular score and will well worth the wait (perhaps I'll slip a peak if anyone wants to twist my arm a little.)
@ alex (what's up with all these first names?)
You're welcome for Broughton's FIRST OLYMPICS. Unfortunately, I don't have DYNASTY or DALLAS to share at this time. :(
hmmmm...arm twisting....damn these primitive interwebs, and the lack of proper appendage support...I would start twisting haphazardly, but I am scared of what might be lurking behind these virtual walls...heh...anywhoo, I would love to get a gander at The Force Unleashed, as I have heard good things about the score (and the game).
Because my arm was twisted, here's your first peek at what happens when the force is unleashed (Mark Grisky - Theme by Jesse Harlin.) With a running time of 5:30, this suite was mixed by yours truly.
ISBUM, FILMPAC, you have posted two great scores, that Irecommend all the people:
WAR AND PEACE and BONFIRE OF THE VANITIES
I bought the txo cd's long ago and were two of my better purchases.
*Filmpac,I download the score to The First Olympics by Broughton, but it was impossible to extract files in my pc (I don't understand where is the problem). Can you post this in rapidshare?
*To all: Someone knows a blog devoted to Dave Grusin?

@ ruggo - Congratulations on the completion of another marvelous project. You may have closed the shower curtain, but will any of us ever feel safe again? ;) I admire your passion and wit!
"A Suite Side of Herrmann" is a classic title for this project.
Take a bow, Master of Anaheim, King of Disneyland, you deserve the applause!
Your accolades are as welcome a the flowers that bloom in the spring tra-la.
A little later today or tomorrow I'll re-up the whole thing in a single posting for those who may have missed part or didn't know what was going on (which is usually my case).
@ ruggo - Bloomin' heck, that's a whole lotta Herrmann! Truth be told, I'm still back on the Rozsa suites, but I'm getting there. Cheers pal:))
@ count zero - It's all your fault, I took the opportunity to upgrade my Carpenter collection. Thanks for the great 320 rips, nice, very nice indeedy!
@ mr remember - Just thought I'd mention (again), there does not seem to be any score for "What Happens In Vegas". No promo, no bootleg, no complete. Not even a soundtrack really, that one I pointed to is an unofficial song collection. Definitely one for the DVD ripping crowd.
@ alex - Likewise re Dallas & Dynasty. I know you've been chasing these a while now, but they just don't exist friend. Also one for the DVD rippers.
This collection is comprised of 57 individual suites (whereas the Rozsa was mostly single tracks), each derived from the soundtrack of a film or television show scored by Bernard Herrmann.
The compilation runs approximately 15.8 hours and about 2 gigs in size. The Rapidshare and Megaupload files are each under 200mb and interchangeable.
For organizational purposes the suites have been placed in order of the release dates of the films (with exception of the bonus and TV suites).
Enjoy. And stay away from the showers at the Bates Motel.

@ score-brother - Thanks for letting us know about the update! Oh yeah, thanks also for the nice compliment you laid on us at "The Hero and the Terror" post. Sweet!
@ score-brother - I like the composer. Was just too sleepy to look him up at the moment. We had a run on David Michael Frank soundtracks some time ago. If you are looking for any others just let us know. We're always happy to help out!
@ All - Does anyone have live links for Amadeus? Certainly we can save Jean a little time if these are posted somewhere else on score blogs. Please. :)
Does anyone have John Carpenter's score to CHRISTINE @320 or lossless? The version I have includes the songs from the film which is nice but the score itself suffers from bad clipping.
One of a handful of movies I own on DVD, I watched it again last night and just love this group of misfits stuck working in the Hungarian subway system.
"Kontroll" 2003 Hungary
Rare for IMDB to have 11 pages totaling 107 comments on a movie, but this one opens itself to a whole pack of interpretations. The majority of these have to do with "who is the killer who pushes people in front of moving trains?"
That rare movie that sparks conversation after viewing it. Best if you watch it with friends.
The soundtrack was released in two versions and to order it I had to call a music seller in Germany. The language barrier wasn't that bad, but I still ended up with the shorter version of the score. This one: Magneoton Records 5046-713522-2 36:20
You think we have any visitors from Hungary here??
The one I'm looking for is this one: Magneoton/Warner Music Hungary 2564-62138-2 *56:37 min.s 1.Metro (02:20) 2.Awakening (02:22) 3.Manhunt (02:27) 4.THC (04:56) 5.Interlude (01:53) 6.Control (04:41) 7.A Familiar Face (02:54) 8.Platform (00:46) 9.Railrun (05:24) 10.Wanderson/Instrumental (05:02) 11.Love Theme (03:44) 12.It's Over Now (03:49) 13.Guardian Angel (00:59) 14-16: Bonus Tracks 14.Controll/Full Vocal Vers.(06:19) 15.Wanderson/Vocal Version (04:47) 16.Nutman (04:14)
Here's the one I have. If you have the full version, I'd seriously love hearing it! request!
Also, any recommendations for somebody who loves "Maybe Tomorrow" from "John & Mary?" Any of his other work along those lines (in terms of both song and score)?
Any favorite Quincy Jones scores? I'm only familiar with "John & Mary," "In Cold Blood" and "The Pawnbroker" and they're all wonderful.
To all I had a lot of things to read. I'm glad some people have helped Isbum in his financial problems, and Jean resolved ,in a good way,his "musical disappointment". Finally Cervantes is always right: "Where there is music, there is no place for evil"
Hello Dear friends I decreased to my requests twelwe requests from this forum bu You certainly know I dont really want to disturb anyone I want to see everyone is happy.İf you can help me? I will be very happy .These list are my last requests Please help me!!!!!!!!!.Please help me!!!!!!!.

Requested by somebody last month, can't remember who. It just popped up on a search, on a p2p program, can be lucky sometimes. Note this is just one song, was used in the film Superdad (1973)... Bobby Goldsboro - These Are The Best Times
@ paskalya - Actually, you increased your request list from your last visit. And I note that the Patty OST (featuring The Rimshots), has disappeared from your list. Can I therefore assume that you have found this score? Can I also assume that you are just chomping at the bit to share it with this group?
@ paskalya - Well, I guess you won't be wanting the Patty OST that I have. Will you?
I'm not really singling paskalya out for special attention here, just a general heads-up. People with lengthy (and repeated) request lists are far more likely to be treated kindly... if they would share something back. It doesn't really matter whether it has been requested or not, it is the thought that counts.
I tend to look on folk who constantly ask, but never give... shall we say poorly. 'Nuff said (:
@ isbum & filmpac, Tomorow sunday I will be out my home, till 8:00 PM local hour, I will not be able to post anything before, please don't send any provided one before I'm back, thank you.
@ Gunshotwound here my friend the "Miracle" @320 from Berstein, in my humble opinion this is a very beautyful music, but not very much know. it's to bad.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QMUK6N1D
Thank you so much for the Grusin, I discover him with the Film " Winning " as you can see in my profile I'm crazy about formula 1, well for me Grusin are taken the real spirit of races in his music , and from this moment I like everything he compose. many, many Thanks.
@ jean - My expectations for "Bobby Deerfield" were very high. I have to admit the Lp was quite a letdown. :( Perhaps, one day, the full score will get a release. I have "Bobby" paired with "The Electric Horseman" if you'd like them.
@Jean - Thank you so much for THE MIRACLE. Back in the 70's I was a member of Bernstein's Filmmusic Collection. I have all of the collection on LP except this Bernstein and the 2 Tiomkins. Why I didn't buy these I don't remember. Hopefully one day I will have them all in digital format.
@ Gunshotwound - In the Bernstein collection they are also these " one, "Land of the Pharaohs" "Gunfight at O.K Coral" and "Search For Paradise"
But Land of the Pharaohs are re- issued in 2CD On FSM,
If you want them just ask and you know where coming to take it.
For the other one ask me if you want some of these. I have the complete set box.
A little anecdote I was also a member of Bernstein’s Film Music Club , and I got still a letter from him in witch I ask him the permission to make a club here in Belgium, " The Elmer Bernstein Music Society " But the answer where NO , but very kindly and with reason, he write me " Unfortunately if I agree with you and I would like to do it the all world will ask me the same thing. I’m sorry I cannot accept your request, I hope you will understand. Etc...
This was a very kind letter and I'm very proud to receive these from a very great man.
Thank you. Hawaii now downloading along with about 20 other scores from your magnificent blog. I don't care if I already have them or not, if they're from this blog or your blog I know they are first class.
@ ruggo - Thank you for your kind words , and your trust. I'm relay like my blog and all the peoples who's there. I'm doing the best I can. And thanks to all of you. friends just friends the best thing we have in this world.
well for now here it's 3:15 AM here I think I will take a little rest. :)
@ isbum - Thank you so much for your "exceptionals". Could not resist the offer, though in the middle of the night, 'cause you've warned us these would be short-lived organisms.
Like Jean said, 20 minutes ago, I too must be going to seek my bed.
@ Filmpac - I'm must be Crazy and I'm not alone I see di)aphanasous still dare and it's now 4:00 AM. but I Luv you :)
I undertand wath you mean about the blog I'm just changing something before I'm going to sleep, I hope I can. Please take a look and tell me if you agree this much better. Please let me a word for this morning.
I wisch you a Good end of day and for di)aphanous a good morning. :)
@ Mel - I wasn't sure this would be your cup of tea. But, on second thought, Lalo seems to have tickled the ivory's quite a bit on this score, and I know how much you love piano players. :)
You're quite right - but, strangely enough, as much as I like Schifrin, the attraction had more to do with Jerry Lewis. I would have wanted that ST no matter who composed it.
And that reminds me: we have had in the past albums by Walter Scharf, but does anyone know of anything by Joseph J. Lilley?
@ Jean and Di(aphanous The poet from Arabia felix said: Why going to sleep? You have the whole Eternity to sleep; Get up and walk ! and my friend Jim sung: "Music is your only friend until the end"
@ isbum - You'll be pleased to know you have officially done my head in with your Schaft Mission Impossible. There are some things death metal bands just shouldn't do, and this is one of them. I wonder if THXJay has inflicted this on his devoted Crime Lounge readers yet. Hope not ;)
@ filmpac - Hee heee! Technically speaking, not "death metal" but "industrial". If ole' croaky had stayed away from the microphone, the track would be a lot more acceptable.
Ok, then, accessible?
Meh, fuggetaboutit! Not your bag bro, I get it. :))
@ isbum - Industrial, I hear you saying. Never did get all those fine line distinctions between genres, but he's got an industrial strength voice, no doubt about that!
FWIW, I don't dislike it, it's a keeper in a little folder I call "Crime Lounge", in homage to Jay.
While we're shooting the breeze, I am just playing a soundtrack you posted yonks ago, "Slam Dance" by Mitchell Froom. Cool, I likes it. Got any more Froom?
Café Flesh is a 1982 post-apocalyptic cult pornographic science fiction film. Music was composed and produced by noted music producer Mitchell Froom (and later appeared in his album,
Thank you Isbum. I really appreciate that, and looking forward to it. Also I mucked up my last post here. I'm getting dizzy. It should have been for my blog, so disregard :))
@ filmpac - This is what I told you about earlier. "Stormy Weather" by Fat's Comet And these two from a mad dude who loves taking dialogue from movies and cutting them to tell stories from the dark side of... "Hollywood". plus a short "Interview" to do with the death of Marilyn Monroe. by Kode IV
@ alex - I don't know of any blogs dedicated to Dave Grusin. Sorry. I would imagine many Jazz blogs would have as many of his recordings as soundtrack blogs. Actually, I didn't mean to dismiss the scores, it's my belief the record labels wanted the focus on the songs and disco tracks more than the score. (sigh) I believe Grusin was just starting up a label himself and he probably understood the audience those labels were targeting.
Hi guys, I know, long time no show, been madly busy.. BUT had time to watch a couple of episodes from BBC's series Hotel Babylon, which I'm really enjoying and was instantly struck by the wonderful score, really great stuff, wonderful, euro lounge style, I just wondered if anyone knew of any release or composer promo release which higlighted the music from the series, any help would be so much appreciated. I did check out a soundtrack CD which I think is the usual Various Artists BS and music inspired by cash return basis..
@gunshotwound - thank you very much, and my pleasure indeed. There have been so many generous contributors amongst us all, I'm more than happy to share what I have, and more :))
@ isbum - Thanks bud for Cafe Flesh, also digging it daddy-o! A little bit of research on Mitchell Froom, and I see he was the record producer on Aussie band "Crowded House" first three albums. As something of a fan (even more so of the previous Split Enz), I can only say this impressed me. In the key of cool indeedy!
@ tony - Ooooh, nice one, thx mate:))
@ all - Something a little different, should appeal to fans of Jean Michel Jarre. Symphonic versions performed by the...
@filmpac -- thanks to you mate, isbum and rocket, I've discovered this wonderful world of giving, blogging and friend making --you're all the best in my book :)
@Jean - Merci beaucoup pour EL CID. My favorite Rozsa score.
@All - Here is a little gem I found the other day. Those of you, like myself, who were young tikes growing up during the early 1960's may have fond memories of the Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation of this Broadway classic. I know I loved it growing up. I still remember running around the living room, jumping on and off furniture pretending I could fly.
I made a mistake when I say that the electric horseman it wasn't a good score. I like very much this score, including the disco tracks.
The score that I think it's the worst of Dave Grusin is Bobby Deerfeld. I changed the names because the are in a promo release, but I like The electric horseman. Bobby Deerfeld was the score I was talking about.
And finally an album that is designed to sound like an old library LP. From a duo called "Cinema Recorded Music Library", this collection features some wonderfully atmospheric soundscapes evoking some rain drenched Eastern-European fog-shrouded streets filled with secret agents! Cinema Recorded Music Library : Your Introductory Record
If you need to see tracklists or artwork for these before taking the plunge, take a detour to my place The Crime Lounge
@ Jay Hey Bud, how are ya. Your site continues to shine pal, very sweet in deed.
So Jay, glad you feel the same about the magic in Hotel Babylon, have you ever heard anything regarding the score? Or maybe a promo release of the composer's music? The Composer's are John Lunn and Jim Williams.
I've actually just located some sound clips, found here:
Which sounds close to the original score music, maybe a little more Funky? Maybe not the original used versions? One thing for sure, the original opening theme is not even included here? (Damn shame) but hell, I don't mind funky either; Funky + Groovy = Cool in my book, so would kindly like to make this a request if anyone can help.
Original TV soundtrack: Hotel Babylon Various Artists
@ thxjay - Been busy at the bunker, I see. You've caught my eye with some of those titles, I shall be over your place shortly. I've hijacked a train and am good to go...
Please note that Pelham is the 11-track version, Soundtrack Collector had this to say: "FSM's repackaged version doesn't just have different artwork: reverb has been added to improve the original pressing's dry sound, many tracks are combined, and short sections of music have been edited out - apparently at the request of Shire himself."... So check what version you might have, and hijack an upgrade:)
@ isbum - Never thought I would see the words "Gary Burghoff" and "sex romp" used in the same post. Grabbing it now, the mind boggles.
Does anyone have the Original Romeo and Juliet dialog soundtrack (it was a 4 record set for the Zeffirelli movie) or the original Richard III from William Walton or the Original Kentuckian?
@All - Does anyone have the regular or expanded or both versions of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF? I have the regular but it is @128 and I want to replace it. Wouldn't mind the expanded either.
Nick Cave & Warren Ellis' ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES - the unreleased End Credits.
Most of it consists of beautiful unreleased folk music which, I think, was specifically composed for the end credits, just like old times... If you enjoyed the official soundtrack, you're gonna love it! :)
@All - I need help. My friend Jorge sent me this version of THE EGYPTIAN 4 years ago and sadly it is @56kbs. I cannot find this same exact version anywhere. It is not the NAXOS, FSM, DECCA, MCA or any other version listed at STC. Forgive the space I am going to use but I am going to list tracks/times in the hope that some one can help.

On a silent film board, someone posted the 1928 Movietone score for John Ford's silent "Four Sons" on one big 67 MB mp3 file:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4ZF15Z42
It's mostly instrumental but includes some sound effects and vocals. One hour, thirty-seven minutes and twenty-one seconds of vintage late 1920s film scoring.

You made my day! Many thanks for Vol. 2 of Herrmann at Fox!

Here is the 31 track McNeely version of Herrmann's TORN CURTAIN

A SUITE SIDE OF HERMANN
(The whole shebang)

Sweet!
@Isbum:
No problem, man.
Did you ever get the chance to download it?
@ all
Does anyone have a lead on Patrick Doyle's score to "BATTLE OF THE BRAVE" (Nouvelle-France)?
Again, any help would be appreciated.
Wild on!
SToothy
@ score-brother - Not yet. But your post reminded me to get it. Same guy who did "Code of Silence", right?
@scoretooth
Your Patrick Doyle coming up. Pretty big APE file with all bells and whistles. Uploading now.
@Isbum:
Hmmm... I m not quite sure as to what you meant when you said, "Same guy who did "Code of Silence", right..."
But I did manage to find that score as well.
Anywho, prepare for more periodical updates.
Later,
-Score-Brother
@ score-brother - I like the composer. Was just too sleepy to look him up at the moment.
We had a run on David Michael Frank soundtracks some time ago. If you are looking for any others just let us know.

@gunshotwound
I have your Dr. Lao. Will private share after it uploads.
@Isbum:
Thanks, I appreciate it.
At the moment, I have no requests for David Michael Frank...
However, I was wondering if you or your nice crew (hence the name, "Isbum & the crew") happened to have the following:
1) The original score to "Iron Eagle" by Basil Poledouris.
2) A soundtrack or soundtracks to any of the "American Ninja" movies.
&
3) The original/bootleg score to "American Anthem" by Alan Silvestri.
Other than that, take care.

@ ruggo - Check your email. Got a question fer ya.

A few requests and some "requests":
Anybody have "The Reel Quincy Jones?"
Thanks!

I think that movie is hugely underrated in Carpenter's filmography.

Requested by somebody last month, can't remember who. It just popped up on a search, on a p2p program, can be lucky sometimes. Note this is just one song, was used in the film Superdad (1973)...
Bobby Goldsboro - These Are The Best Times
@ quinlan - No need to list, buddy.
@ paskalya - Actually, you increased your request list from your last visit. And I note that the Patty OST (featuring The Rimshots), has disappeared from your list. Can I therefore assume that you have found this score? Can I also assume that you are just chomping at the bit to share it with this group?
Filmpac
I haven't patty soundtracks but I listened some songs patty on internet and I don't like it I deleted my wish list
@ isbum & filmpac, Tomorow sunday I will be out my home, till 8:00 PM

Cheers.
@isbum - Thank you for the double Schifrin.
@Jean - I would love to have THE MIRACLE.
@ Gunshotwound here my friend the "Miracle" @320 from Berstein, in my humble opinion this is a very beautyful music, but not very much know. it's to bad.

Perhaps, one day, the full score will get a release.
I have "Bobby" paired with "The Electric Horseman" if you'd like them.
jean - you are a gentleman and a scholar! And a Belgian, too, but that goes without saying!
Thank you very much!
@jean
Thank you. Hawaii now downloading along with about 20 other scores from your magnificent blog. I don't care if I already have them or not, if they're from this blog or your blog I know they are first class.
Does anyone know how where to find THE ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN ZOOM (Shirley Walker)?
@ ruggo - Thank you for your kind words , and your trust. I'm relay like my blog and all the peoples who's there. I'm doing the best I can. And thanks to all of you. friends just friends the best thing we have in this world.

And see you tomorow.
@ di(aphanous - The Saturday Night Specials are everybody's reward for making it through the week. ;)
Here's something I ran across tonight that is really bizarre.

with lyrics that have nothing to do with Mission Impossible!
Absolutely not for everyone.

Thanks very much for Way Way Out.
@ Mel - I wasn't sure this would be your cup of tea. But, on second thought, Lalo seems to have tickled the ivory's quite a bit on this score, and I know how much you love piano players. :)
@ isbum
You're quite right - but, strangely enough, as much as I like Schifrin, the attraction had more to do with Jerry Lewis. I would have wanted that ST no matter who composed it.
And that reminds me: we have had in the past albums by Walter Scharf, but does anyone know of anything by Joseph J. Lilley?

@ filmpac - Yes, Froom's Key of Cool uploading now.
Death Metal - Guitar driven
Industrial - Percussion driven - generally electronic overall.
Got a few tracks for you to check out now that I cracked the window open.

Nothing big, just have a question for you.
Isbum, yes, The electric horseman is not the best score by Dave Grusin.
Do you know a blog dedicated to Dave Grusin? Thanks

Cheers! :)
Best
Ennioman
@ Tony - I know it you will be dare, many thanks for this score, I'm just came back from your blog :) I let you a message. thanks again Tony.
@jean - I got my friend. And thanks again.
Hello to all the friends here too! :)
Hi Tony! My B.S. is still coming soon! ;)
:))
Grrreat! I won't be around much on Wednesday. But send me an email with the link, and i'll have it up asap.
...uh, you know what I mean :)
@Tony - Even though I did not request GEISHA BOY, thank you very much for sharing. You have a great blog with wonderful selections. Cheers to you!!
@Isbum - I am glad you posted TARAS BULBA. I only have it @192 so an upgrade is great. It is also my favorite Waxman score.
City Of Prague Philharmonic "The Symphonic Jean Michel Jarre" (2006), @VBR:

Enjoy!
@filmpac
Sure do like the stuff the City Of Prague Phil has been turning out. Quite a spectacular sound...looking forward to this.
Is it my imagination, or are Prague, Moscow and London becoming the leading purveyors of re-recorded film music?
Hello,
Would anybody happen to have the song Love Is Blue (L'Amour Est Bleu) by Claudine Longet...
thanks in advance... =)
J.
@filmpac -- thanks to you mate, isbum and rocket, I've discovered this wonderful world of giving, blogging and friend making --you're all the best in my book :)
Here are "El Cid" @320

Goodnight. :)
PETER PAN - B'way 1954 (17@192)

Sex romp set in the advertising world. Can't put my finger on what category the music falls into. Uptempo rock with a dash of psyche.
EnJoY!
I agree with Ennioman on the great score used in Hotel Babylon....very groovy!
Here are a few things I've just posted over at The Crime Lounge:
Roy Budd's score to Who Dares Wins (aka The Final Option)
Who Dares Wins : Roy Budd
A collection of Easy Listening tunes with one of my Studio 2 Stereo custom covers
Essential Easy Listening
A wonderful collection of Bond themes by the Eric Winstone Big Band from 1973
Eric Winstone Plays 007
And a couple of collections of Television Themes
The London Theatre Orchestra : Cops On The Box USA
and
The London Theatre Orchestra : Cult TV Themes
An album of music from the films of Steven Seagal (including a 20 minute interview)
Music From The Films of Steven Seagal : David Michael Frank
A collection of Movie themes from the San Diego Symphony Orchestra conducted by Lalo Schifrin
Those Fabulous Hollywood Marches : Lalo Schifrin & The San Diego Symphony Orchestra
The German CD release of Escape From New York
John Carpenter : Die KlapperSchlange
And finally an album that is designed to sound like an old library LP. From a duo called "Cinema Recorded Music Library", this collection features some wonderfully atmospheric soundscapes evoking some rain drenched Eastern-European fog-shrouded streets filled with secret agents!
Cinema Recorded Music Library : Your Introductory Record
If you need to see tracklists or artwork for these before taking the plunge, take a detour to my place The Crime Lounge
Enjoy!
Roy Budd's score to 1975 film "Paper Tiger" featuring a little help from both the Ray Conniff & Mike Sammes singers
Paper Tiger : Roy Budd
@thxjay -great stuff my friend!
Your blog is a class act all the way!
Thanks again for the wonderful ear candy :)
@ Jay
Hey Bud, how are ya. Your site continues to shine pal, very sweet in deed.
So Jay, glad you feel the same about the magic in Hotel Babylon, have you ever heard anything regarding the score? Or maybe a promo release of the composer's music?
The Composer's are John Lunn and Jim Williams.
I've actually just located some sound clips, found here:
http://www.zavvi.co.uk/music-Soundtracks-Original+T.v.+Soundtrack-10+to+12.49-Original-TV-Soundtrack-Hotel-Babylon/843781/cccr33.r10.1/p.jsf
Original TV soundtrack:
Hotel Babylon
Various Artists
Mucho thanks
Ennioman
Bummer that the BBC show "Hustle" never got a proper release either.
I know you guys would have dug it.
@ Isbum
Hi mate, funny enough, Hotel Babylon is very similar in style, do you ever get a showing of these series?
Ennioman
@ ennioman - Just checked. Nope, not yet anyway.
@ thxjay - Been busy at the bunker, I see. You've caught my eye with some of those titles, I shall be over your place shortly. I've hijacked a train and am good to go...
David Shire "The Taking Of Pelham One Two Three" (1974), @320:
http://rapidshare.com/files/138618521/DS-Pelham.zip
Please note that Pelham is the 11-track version, Soundtrack Collector had this to say: "FSM's repackaged version doesn't just have different artwork: reverb has been added to improve the original pressing's dry sound, many tracks are combined, and short sections of music have been edited out - apparently at the request of Shire himself."... So check what version you might have, and hijack an upgrade:)
@ isbum - Never thought I would see the words "Gary Burghoff" and "sex romp" used in the same post. Grabbing it now, the mind boggles.
@ filmpac - See, your radar's working fine! Glad someone else found that funny. :)
@ All:
Hi guys, sorry to be a "request pest," but I do have another soundtrack I am hunting down.
(The thing is, it is on the net from a blogspot, but the link is dead and I am beginning to think that the uploader is not going to re-post it)
Anyway, the soundtrack I am looking for is to the movie, "Iron Eagle II."
If anyone can help me out, I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks in advance, and good night everyone.

@All - Does anyone have the regular or expanded or both versions of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF? I have the regular but it is @128 and I want to replace it. Wouldn't mind the expanded either.
I am prepared to wait many SUNRISES, SUNSETS. :)
just another impossible ghostly request :
The Abominable Snowman by Humphrey Searle.
Funny how i watched the movie for the 3rd time and 1st time I pay attention to the wonderful music!
@ isbum : thanx for Kontroll. A genuine gem of a movie indeed - and a pulsating score!
@gunshotwound
30th Anniv. Edition of Fidler coming up. (@320)

Second, I am the 80's and 90's type soundtrack fan myself, so you may be right on that.
Anywho, thanks again, man!

On a silent film board, someone posted the 1928 Movietone score for John Ford's silent "Four Sons" on one big 67 MB mp3 file:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4ZF15Z42
It's mostly instrumental but includes some sound effects and vocals. One hour, thirty-seven minutes and twenty-one seconds of vintage late 1920s film scoring.
