«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 400 of 1391 Newer› Newest»@ All - I'd really like to UP the speed on our FranklyYES Projects.
* See the Main Page "Denouement" for details.
You want to be a part of Frankly history? Get your screen name credited on the compilation?
Get off your butts and upload ONE track that exemplifies the subject TODAY, because once it hit's 80 minuets of music -
it's CLOSED, organized, mastered and covered for posting!
The next project will be announced the moment we hit the 8o minuets and close our project - "Denouement".
Go my soundtrack friends, go today!
@ Ruggo - Great work on the compilation...my sincere thanks.
To all, have a safe and happy Independence Day....

Thanks for the "Beowulf" link.

@sorei and bmiami:
I don't know if you checked already, but the "Mike's Murder" link is dead.
I still wouldn't mind getting a hold John Barry's score for it, though.
@steven64
hello to murphy.
if wanted, I can upload in @192, but it's not Barry.... (+not my rip)
@sorei:
I've got an LP rip I made myself of the Joe Jackson "Mike's Murder". But if your link is from CD or digital, I'd love to get it from you.

Hi guys and dolls,
I have a request. Further to my Rapidshare problem, which some of you may have read about here, I have uploaded a very small file - my DVD rip of the title music of a rare 1941 British movie, One Wild Oat, composed by Stanley Black. The music is less than two minutes long and will only take a few seconds to download.
If I can get at least ten of you to download it, it will prove or disprove the fact that if I do not transfer the file to my collector’s account (and I didn’t) it will not be limited to just ten downloads. So far it has been downloaded just once.
Thank you for your time and trouble. Your reward is that you'll be getting some nice music:

@boogiepop
thanks again, isn't it strange, I am unable to find all those treasures you offer, but I already had the chance to make someone happy at the german board I'm in, who requestes *Phantomschmerz*, and I had it because of you!

@ southview - Thanks for N@tty G@nn!
@ steven64 - I'd love a copy of your vinyl rip of Mike's Murder. And cover scans would give you legendary vinyl dude status :)
@ l rob hubb - Great vinyl rips, many many thanks. Cover scans to follow, as with your last batch?
@ jeffrey scott arnold - Wherever you are. Somewhere, you asked for Close Encounters, Varese release like the original 77 release. How about the original 77 release, ripped & remastered from vinyl, by friend Filmmusicman...
John Williams "Close Encounters" (1977), LP @320 <---
Random bonus bits of Williams, also from vinyl:
John Williams "The Towering Inferno" (1974), LP @320 <---
John Williams "Not With My Wife, You Don't" (1966), LP @256 <---
PS. Preserve the vinyl. Got a rip, got cover scans, please share them.
@ mel - Chalk one up from me too. Can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate the effort. Fingers crossed mate :)
@sorei
No problem. My pleasure.
Nice to hear that my uploads finally are of use to someone ;-D
@ boogiepop - Just noticed your comment, and reminded me. A friend asked about the music to match the "Die Flucht" covers at the Arthouse. I thought perhaps it was one of your German specials. Normally, I wouldn't ask, but if perchance it was one of yours, would it be possible to repost the music link next SNS? Thanks heaps for everything you do here (even Barbie, not my cup of tea but I admire your guts for posting them), and best wishes to the notorious one :)
@ tlkjwe - You posted the covers. Perhaps you can do the music?
Thanks fellers :)
@ John James, Southview212, Ruggo and filmpac (whose suggestion it was to try this in the first place)
Proof positive! Thank you very much, guys. Up to now the file has been downloaded 13 times which proves that filmpac is quite correct. It seems totally illogical, but the secret obviously is not to transfer the file - just leave it where it is and all will be well.
Thanks for your support and I hope you all enjoyed the Stanley Black.
@filmpac
yes it was one of boogiepops sns! Downloaded that too.

@Rugo: THX for the Goodsmiths!
anyone have Dennis McCarthy's Star Trek Borg game score promo??
Thanks!!
@ bmiami
Thanks so much for that link to Beowulf. I'm really looking forward to hearing it sans the dialog and sound effects....it sounded like a really good score; very dramatic.
Rapidshare isn't letting me download. It says I have to wait 2 minutes because it's busy, but no matter how long I wait, or how often I try, it won't let me download. Is anyone else having this problem....on the free side that is?
Well, Rapidshare finally decided to grant me admittance, so I guess everything is O.K. I've never run into this problem before, and I hope I don't see it again.
@Christine Cougar:
I was about to post that I just had the same problem you were having.
Thanks to you, at least I know that I'll eventually get to download something - I just have to wait my "2 minutes".
thanks everybody for your awesome recommendations!!i truly appreciate the input from everybody!!

@isbum: All 3 of your requested customs from the Police Box are now in the TAD.
@writerdirectorcollector:
Here's "Mike's Murder" by Joe Jackson @320 - my LP rip. There's also a kinda cool instrumental track from Joe Jackson's "Will Power" included.

It's like watching Animal Planet every time you go after something. ;)
@filmpac-- thanks for thinking of me on CEot3K!
Hi to all!
Does anyone have the score for
ONE FINE DAY (1994)?
@Paolo S
I have the Promo Score to 'one fine day' by James Newton Howard.
BUT it's only @vbr155 and its tracks are untitled.
anyone has an upgrade?
Or should I upload?
@Steven64
thanks for the uprade to Mike's murder.
@Isbum
thanks for Quinlans LP-Rip from Roots.
@sorei
Track titles not necessary - I will name them easily. If no-one has better bitrate I would take your upload with pleasure. Thanks!
Oh, @sorei, pardon. I already have the tracks I need from there... (ONE FINE DAY)
I need the following score:
IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU (1994)
Saw this on a Michael Jackson thread, Bruce Broughton's score for Moonwalker.

Here's Die Flucht Promo Score by Enjott Schneider.
Note: While checking and zipping it I realised that there are 19 tracks but the cover scans state there should be 21. Since I originally got it from here a while ago there is at least a chance the original uploader is still around. So here's my request:
Dear original uploader, could you please upload the missing two tracks if possible? Thanks in advance :-)
@Boogiepop,
once more a great job, my German Score Specialist
I've got a few John Williams requests here, but not sure if anyone has one of them available. They are all released by Film Score Monthly.
None But the Brave (1965) - John Williams (this one was just released last month, if anyone has it, this is the one I really would like to find)
Diamond Head/Gone With the Wave (1963/1964) -John Williams, Lalo Schifrin
A Guide for the Married Man (1967)- John Williams
John Goldfarb, Please Come Home! (1965) -John Willliams
Any help in getting these soundtracks is so much appreciated!
@ Ms Boricua:
Thanks for all your SNS's, hope I'll get them in time... :)

@Isbum: (and @Scott Vawser)
There's been a request for John Williams' "None But the Brave" which I have. But it just released last month. Should I wait until next SNS to post? Or can I squeeze it in today?
You people are SO fast! Thank you!
@ Steven64 - Next week, please.
It can be shared privately, if you'd like.
Here's a score that is really quite good, probably one of James Newton Howard's better scores.

@Isbum:
Gotcha.
@Andy Vawser:
If you send me a contact separate from frankyYES, I can send you the link for "None But...".
@Southview212:
"Waterworld" is an excellent score. If Isbum ever makes a comp of simply beautiful cues, "Swimming" oughta make the cut.
@ Steven64 - We came close with our
Project Vol.3, Frankly Joyful Film Music.
Of which you can get here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HOC5JBTJ
@ All - The Big Hand on the FranklyYES clock say's HURRY!
Submissions for "Denouement" are being accepted for only 10 more Hours!
@ Steven64 - I agree with you, Swimming from Waterworld, is a really beautiful and well constructed bit of music.
Right now I'm listening to JNH's "Wyatt Earp". It too is a great score with some really wonderful western themes. I think I'll be sending it along, lossless, really soon.
@Southview212:
Definitely wouldn't mind giving "Wyatt Earp" a listen. I just got the Intr@d@ extended "Silverado" and it's a sweet score. (Although I kept hearing the theme for "JAG" popping up.)
@Isbum:
Thanks! Downloading now...
@ isbum
What can I say? I guess I'm just a natural born shapeshifter! It kind of goes woth being ecclectic.
@Steven64
Thanks for the Mike's Murder upgrade!
Cheers ^_^ /

@ Southview212 - Could you post Craig Safan's "Son of the Morning Star" in ZeCarlos Western shop, please?
@ Isbum - Son of the Morning Star will be at ZeCarlos, before the sunsets to in the West.
@isbum
A long time ago I posted Angels In America in two parts, here is part two which includes the file you need. It should be @320.
http://rapidshare.com/files/160621549/AngelsInAmericaPart2.zip
@isbum
I meant (but forgot) to add that if you need me to I will download and re-up just that one track:)
@KevinG:
Actually I was wondering, if it's not too much trouble, if you could post a link to Part 1 of your "Angels in America". (I'm downloading Part 2 as we speak...so to speak.)
@ KevinG - Is it safe to assume that the track in question ends abruptly because it's programmed to lead into the following track?
This is a problem I have when they mix tracks into each other.
I have edited a version of the track on my Audacity program... but a fade-out seems rather "forced".
Bloody Artists! ;)
Thanks for sending it!
It does cut off.
Bloody ARTISTS! ;)
LOL! Thanks for the assist, but my fade-out will have to do.
"The Denoument" is ready to be uploaded and covered.
This project went very well, I feel.
Thanks to everybody who contributed!
We should see it posted by the weekend. BRAVO!CHEERS!
Broke a record, I'm sure!
@isbum
Just listened to it again in iTunes (beautiful piece) and I'm afraid it does go directly into the next track.

@KevinG:
Thanks so much for "Angels".
Sorry to keep posting these thank-yous piecemeal.
@Southview212:
Thanks so much for "Wyatt Earp" lossless. I also love the fact that you always include hi-res artwork. Looking forward to a nice evening's listen. ;-)
@ southview - Many thanks for the Fenton-fest, and thanks from the Arthouse for the covers too!
@ steven64 - Thanks for the Mike's Murder vinyl upgrade, sounds real good. Covers would be most excellent if'n you can locate the record, it's a long standing request at the Arthouse :)
@ isbum - Looking forward to the finished project, thx for putting it all together and the "remastering" job hehe :)
@ ruggo - You noticed that too, huh?
Random acts of vinyl...
Krzysztof Komeda "Rosemary's Baby", LP @320 <---
Leonard Rosenman "The Chapman Report", LP @320 <---
Bronislau Kaper "Lord Jim", LP @320 <---
Beto Strada "Bacalhau", LP @320 <---
Note: Bacalhau is a Brazilian Jaws rip-off, recommended.
"Bacalhau"
What a heck!?
That's the traditional meal we eat in our country on Christmas Eve!
http://www.1001receitas.com/images/recipes/bacalhau-couve-portugesa2.jpg
@ NanM - Sexy looking dish!
Not sure why it makes me think of Pamela Anderson! LOL!
@ nanm - I did read somewhere that "Bacalhau" is Brazilian (Portugese?) for cod. And is (maybe) the word for shark too. Which doesn't quite have the same ring as "shark", hey!
Can't imagine a screaming horde of people leaving the water, all shouting "COD" at the top of their lungs. But there it is. Please correct if wrong.
Sneak peek at the covers in the Arthouse here. No wonder the "bacalhau" is licking his chops hehe ;)
@ Filmpac - I suppose the Australian's use "croc" because nobody get's a chance to say "crocodile!" before they're eaten.
@Isbum - Sexy is the last thing i would call for that dish, but after seeing the pic again, i know what you mean. :)
Now thanks to Pamela atributes, all my next Christmas Eve dinner,will never be the same!
@Filmpac - That's correct sir. Bacalhau is Portuguese/Brazilian word for 'Cod', but no way a Bacalhau is a Shark. lol We don't eat Sharks at Christmas!!
I'm just kidding because it's hilarious that there's a parody movie for a 'Bacalhau'.
It's like doing the same for a Christmas Turkey.
Oh wait...,
http://pfitzinger.net/MrBeanTurkey.PNG
This is all funny!
In this country we see sharks at shopping malls around Christmas.
Quint says it best:
"When they come at ya, don't seem to be living... until they bites ya, and those black eyes roll over white and then... ah then you hear that terrible high-pitched screamin'."
;)
Does anyone have the Aika R-16 music collection CD that was released back in 2007.
I found one torrent link but it goes to the message "DNS Error".
The only other links i can find are for the opening and closing them.
It's the main BGM that i am after.
Thanks
Does anybody have "The Looking Glass War" by Wally Stott? From the titles on YouTube, it sounds like a beautiful score in the vein of Quincy Jones:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayJkMTW4uxk
Oh, I mean Angela Morley (credited as Wally Stott)... I actually didn't know they were the same until a minute ago...
@sorei:
I'm a bit late in asking this, but I tried to download the link you posted last week for "Mission: Impossbile" but it was dead.
Is there a chance you could re-post a a new link?
Thanks!
@Ruggo
Sorry dear friend, didn´t want to bother.
@ ISBUM: I was unable to post a reply on the FRANKLY YES PROJECT PAGE, So I hope you'll see this. Yes, the music does cut off because it continues on the next track which is #30. I did not want to include it because that would be two tracks, and you where wishing to have more individual posts instead of numerous ones from just a few. But that thought had occured to me as I posted it. I can send you the next track if that helps. It's frustrating to hear it that way and think you are missing part of the track. In either case, have a great day. Take care.
@ nightflyer - Thanks for getting back to me buddy! Your selection was a good one and has been included in the Project.
I was just trying to figure out if the .mp3 was damaged or if the intention was to flow into the End Credits.
It's now worked out. Thank you. :)
@Dylan
The Looking Glass War Sound Track was the reason I've found this blog in April. Looking for and asking for it in other blogs I was addressed to here, but unfortunately no (100%)success.
I managed to get some info from Angela's partner, Christine Parker who told me that "There is no record of all the music." (in reference to this movie)
There is a CD "Film & Television Music of Angela Morley" that contains music since she was Wally Stott and is performed by John Wilson & His Orchestra, which includes only a "Theme" of this movie.
Main titles and ending titles have been extracted from the movie (DVD or VHS, I don't know which) and were provided to me on this blog by Steve on April 3, 2009:
http://rapidshare.com/files/217139236/Wally_Stott_-_The_Looking_Glass_War.rar
Enjoy.
P.S.: You can find a little bit more about the subject on this blog's archives, month of April 2009. Keywords: Steve/MacDream
This is a Morricone compilation that is unlisted at Soundtrackcollector. It was released in Japan, in 2005. The then Prime Minister, Junichiro Koizumi, is a huge Morricone fan. This is the compilation that was issued for him. I came across this CD a few years ago, at a clearance sale at Footlight in NYC.
The selections on this CD are quite good. It's @320.

And it started at 9 minuets!:(
Does anyone have Joel McNeely's Return to Neverland score?

Big thanks

@ Big E - Yes there is. Someone can post it in this weekends SNS.

***Ripped by me***
@isbum... Sorry for that, I posted those today, because I won't be able to have access to internet this weekend :(... Sorry if I caused any trouble... It won't happen again ;)
OBI
@ Obi Ralf Kenobi - Oh crap! Now I'm sorry I didn't copy them. I could have re-posted them for you.
Sorry about that.
@ Obi Ralf Kenobi - I have them now and will post them Friday evening.
If I may go on a bit further. I'm a terrible procrastinator and the hour spent removing SNS's every Monday (or Tuesday) is a pain. I adore you folks that click on the trash-can and remove them yourselves.
Still & all, the SNS's are great fun and worth the trouble in the end.
I just need to have them contained to a few calender days, so I can find them.
Thanks for understanding.
Hi all! I was wondering if anyone has The Champ by Dave Grusin (1979)? I think it only had a lp release. Thx in advance!
@Ms Boricua:
I have one track from "The Champ". It's called "Gym Montage". (It used to be the theme song to "Inside the NFL" on HBO a long time ago.)
Request here:

I am guilty of not deleting my own SNS files, I will do better to help you with the clean up:)
Thanks guys for the quick reply.
Thx Ruggo, very much appreciated! :D
Altho it was not released, I'm asking b/c sometimes you guys/girls come out with amazing stuff, so... Fanboys by Mark Mothersbaugh? I loved that movie.
The whole Bacalhau convo was funny, so I thought of adding that in PR we call it Bacalao. ;)
I hate to do this, b/c I don't want to sound ungrateful.... Ruggo, do you have the last track by any chance? 12. Gone (04:12)
If not, is totally cool. I'm just very glad that you uploaded the score for me. =)
@ KevinG - Thanks bro!
@ Ruggo - If "The Champ"'s last track is MIA / TKO? I can help.
Just holla "Adriaaaaaan!"

EnjoY!
I'm almost embarrassed to post this request -- does anyone have or know the location of the very original soundtracks to St@r W@rs or The 3mpire Stri kes B@ack? The very original releases from when the movies were first shown? Bad as they were, those are the ones I'm looking for --
Many thanks!
I know it's been mentioned a few times, but does anyone have Sudden Impact and the Best of Dirty Harry (LP), preferably @320? I have the reissue of Sudden Impact, but I'd really like the Roberta Flack track. The link in the archive isn't available anymore.
thanks!
@ joseph - I can do your requested Sudden Impact best of LP, its not quite 320, but a fairly choice VBR extreme (256 average). Quite possibly the same as the one in the archives. Got some other uploads happening at the mo, so might not happen for 12-18 hours or so. Thats factoring sleep in there somewhere.
Filmpac puts on his Arthouse hat:
Covers would also be nice, if anyone has.
@filmpac
Thanks so much for the quick response. No rush at all, and 256 will be perfectly fine. Get some sleep!
Here's the complete version @320.

I guess tracks 8 & 9 were mixed together on the Lp. I placed a cue change in there so people downloading won't be telling you that it's short one track.

Let me know if they're dead and I'll up them.
Could anybody help me get a hold of the score to 'Enduring Love' by Jeremy Sams?
I just saw the artwork for FSM Miklos Rozsa's 'Atlantis, The Lost Continent'.
Much appreciated if someone is willing. Perhaps for the SNS.
Thanks, Ron
